  • My Younger Brother is a Hero Chapter 107

    107. “You swallowed them.” At Libby's words, Hyeon-woo raised the corner of his mouth and smiled. “It tasted horrible.”  In order to live, he swallowed the demon's energy. He felt like throwing up because of how disgusting the taste was, but he held it down. Only then would he be able to gain the strength to survive. 'It's an unusual talent.' The fairy had said so. ‘You can swallow someone else's power and make it your own. Isn't that a monstrous ability?’ “It’s a bit difficult to deal with.” “Just a bit difficult?” Tiamat looked at Libby with a bewildered expression, but Hyeon-woo remained unconcerned. It seemed like someone was helping him. It could be force, or it could be some other helper. Or maybe he was trying to run away. 'I won't let anything leave.' For now, he focused on Tiamat. Hyeon-woo stepped forward. “Let's see how easy it is to suffer!”  Tiamat screamed and turned her body back to normal. Libby seemed to be getting used to the attack, so she was going to cast magic at least while he blocked. "Uhh." A man made a small noise, then frightened himself and covered his mouth. His name was Lee Hanil. One of the elites of the Yoram Guild, he was an intelligence agent with specialized abilities in tracking and hiding. 'This has gone crazy.' It wasn't that he was chasing Ji Hyeon-woo from the beginning. The original target was Ji Seon-woo. But he was hospitalized for some reason, so his pursuit stopped for a while. In that situation, Ji Hyeon-woo ran outside. ‘There’s something about this!’ With that thought, Hanil followed Ji Hyeon-woo's footsteps. It was very difficult to catch up because he was flying through the sky, but in the end, he succeeded in chasing after him! It was supposed to be a success, but he didn't know what the situation was. 'I've seen that gigantic dragon before.' It was the dragon that appeared during the random portal incident in New York. It was said that the survivor was able to take pictures because it was so large. Perhaps, the enemy of mankind. Of course, he naturally couldn't help but be interested. Guild Leader Ja-yun also told them to make their own decisions and move, so Hanil decided to stay and watch them. 'I did, but what is happening?' The dragon roared and the Hydra howled. And a human he had never seen before raised a shield to block Ji Hyeon-woo's attack. 'I think he’s maybe not a simple tamer.' Strong even without taming monsters. He felt chills running down his spine at the power he felt despite the distance. The power used was also unusual. ‘Is he on our side?' Such a question that ran through his mind at this point. 'I can't just stay still.' Ji Hyeon-woo had the upper hand now, but there were many opponents. Even if one of them got out of the way and something big would happen. If one runs at full speed from here, it won't be long before one is in the city center where many people live. After organizing his thoughts, Hanil took out a walkie-talkie from his waist. He asked for help from the Yoram guild. *** Do-jin left the hospital room, and Ga-jun faced the situation he was most concerned about. Seon-woo had opened his eyes. The first thing he did when he woke up was to look around. But the person he wanted wasn't here. “Why are you here?” Seon-woo asked in a cold voice. “Why are you  here? Of course, this is the hospital room.” He tried to look around, but the gaze that reached him stung. "What do you mean?" "I’m taking care of you." For a moment, there was silence in the hospital room. “Pfft.” Alberg then burst into laughter. He kept giggling. In comparison, Miriel just stood there with a flat face unable to comprehend the situation. “You are taking care of me?” "Why can't I!" “Stop talking nonsense, where is Hyung?” “He went to the bathroom for a while.” “The bathroom?” Seon-woo's gaze turned to the bathroom inside the hospital room. As an S-class Awakened, he easily noticed that there was no one in there. “No, the outside bathroom. Shame on you, what am I even saying?” The temperature of his gaze dropped more and more. It seemed to be really cold now. Ga-jun twirled his fingers with an awkward expression. “Where is he?” “Alberg.” When Ga-jun didn't answer correctly, Seon-woo asked Alberg this time. “Hyeon-woo went to catch Tiamat.” Alberg readily told the truth. "Hey!" Ga-jun screamed, but Alberg remained calm. "Why did you say that!" "You didn't tell me to keep it a secret, did you?" “Even if I didn’t, you pretend! Just pretend to!” That bastard demon. No doubt he said it on purpose. “Hey, how can you lie? The demons are the race that always tells the truth.” This time Miriel snorted at Alberg’s words. "Nonsense!" “I really meant it.” “I don’t care if you lie well or not. Rather, where did Hyung go?” Without hesitation, Seon-woo pulled out the intravenous needle and got down from the bed. "Hey, you're still sick!"' Ga-jun shouted, but the answer that came back was as expected. “I’m totally fine.” “It hasn't been long since you lost control! Miriel, back me up!”  Then Miriel spat out words as if she was annoying. “It would be good to rest for a while. You was temporarily repressed, so you never know when you will go berserk again.” “Did you hear? That's what the person who treated you said. So please listen!" “I’m not an ordinary person.” “Whatever! That doesn’t matter” “How can I move on? You just called an Angel a human” “Aho, not very flexible.” Ga-jun scratched his head. In the meantime, Seon-woo approached the window in a hospital gown. “He went out this way.” “Yeah, that’s right. You don't even know where it is. Han Do-jin has gone to pick him up, so you can rest for now.” “Han Do-jin?” It was belatedly that Ga-jun felt sorry for him. He went out of his way because of Han Do-jin, but to say that name again. He made a mistake. "Where is he?" “I’ll tell you.” The guy who had been lying around saying it was annoying, suddenly changed his mind. Probably because he was interested. Ga-jun felt his head hurt. 'You're sending only Alberg and Ji Seon-woo?' He couldn't stand to see such a terrible thing. It must have been a big accident. Ga-jun also had accidents from time to time, but they couldn't solve all of them. It was very difficult to go from being in the position of having an accident for the first time to stopping it. In the past, when the Deputy Guild Leader stopped him, he should have listened more calmly. Feeling sorry for the Deputy Guild Leader, Ga-jun raised his hand. “Yeah, if you’re going, I’d rather we go all together.” He thought that would be fine. "Great. Shall we go now?" Alberg, who had been lying down, got up and went to the window. Then he jumped through the open window. Then, Seon-woo jumped down, followed by Miriel.  “Fuck, there’s a door, but why the fuck is everyone going out through the window?” Ga-jun climbed through the window while swearing. When he got down to the floor, the three of them were already moving far away. “Th-there is a car!” While cursing, Ga-jun kicked off the ground and started running. By the time he was an S-class Awakened, he could run faster than a car. Even so, it wasn’t worth it to run. 'So let's get in the car!' He didn't know why everyone was running. He was running with them because everyone was, but he sighed. *** By the time the four left the hospital, Do-jin arrived at the scene. The dark night was brightened by the light of a helicopter floating in the sky, and barricades were built around it. “Residents, please evacuate! It's dangerous, don't go in there!" Even in the middle of the evacuation, curious people stopped by, but the police did not let a single one in. They seemed to let Awakened in, but it took some time to confirm. Do-jin, who was confirmed, jumped over the barricade riding the shadow. And after running some more, he saw a huge monster. Hyeon-woo blocked the monsters and demons in front of him. Hyeon-woo! He wanted to shout out his name right away, but he couldn't. This was because if he did something wrong, he may end up hurting him. Instead, Do-jin chose to assist Hyeon-woo. It was night, so the shadows, which had grown stronger, colored the surroundings and spread around. The terrifyingly inflated shadow immediately grabbed Tiamat's legs and stretched them. It wasn't easy to keep the huge dragon tied, but it had to be done. 'We have to reduce the number one by one.' “Krrrk!” Tiamat, who was diligently dodging the attack and casting magic, hesitated. And the attack that Libby and Kai couldn't block passed her neck. “Kyaaaagh!” Blood splattered in the air with a sharp scream. The ensuing attack was stopped by Hydra by sacrificing his own head. Hydra, already tattered, had not even half of his head left. “Whoa.” A familiar voice came from the darkness. "I almost died." It was Bacardi who had been down all the time and now fully recovered. "Long time no see?" Bacardi raised his hand to Do-jin and rushed. Looking at the current situation, it seemed that Do-jin was doing something, so he wanted to stop him. However, Do-jin persistently aimed only at Tiamat while avoiding Bacardi's attack. No matter how strong he was, Bacardi was human. He was talking about being able to tidy up their lines. But Tiamat was not like that. She was a walking disaster. To be honest, she could do massive damage just by rolling around in the city.  Do-jin only moved accordingly. • That guy is This guy Chapter 97

    97.   The remarriage proceeded quickly.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who followed the woman into her second marriage partner’s house, came to live in a large and spacious mansion that was incomparable to the small room he lived in before.   Around that time, she resumed communication with her relatives, whom she had severed ties with. The woman’s older sister, Chae Yoo-jeong’s aunt, had one son.   “You’re Chae Yoo-jeong?”   At the first meeting, Yoo Gyeong-seok greeted Chae Yoo-jeong by lightly tapping him on the shoulder. He was 8 years older than Chae Yoo-jeong and was working as a professional gamer.   Meeting his relatives for the first time in his life did not give Chae Yoo-jeong much inspiration. He couldn’t even remember the face of Yoo Gyeong-seok, who had just greeted him.   After nine months of the woman remarrying a strange man and living in a spacious mansion, Chae Yoo-jeong’s life was filled with nothing but color. He wasn’t interested in anything and everything was boring. Even when the winter came, just before he turned 15, his condition was still the same.   The person who noticed that Chae Yoo-jeong was not normal was his cousin, Yoo Gyeong-seok.   Since he had been receiving psychological counseling regularly due to the stress and burden he experienced while working as a professional athlete, he immediately noticed that Chae Yoo-jeong, who was different from his peers, had a problem. In fact, Yoo Gyeong-seok was the only adult who cared about Chae Yoo-jeong at all.   When Yoo Gyeong-seok asked if it would be a promising idea to get counseling, the woman’s emotionless gaze turned to Chae Yoo-jeong. The woman who had been staring at the child for a while opened her mouth.   “I’ll make a reservation so you can go.”   The answer that he didn’t really want to go was just stuck in his mouth this time.   In the end, Chae Yoo-jeong followed the woman’s wishes and went to the hospital again, and after receiving consultation, he was prescribed medication. However, Chae Yoo-jeong had no will to change, so even if he took the medicine, it had no significant effect.   On the contrary, he felt that the more medicine he took, the more unstable his memory became, to the point of discomfort. The good news is that his compulsive behavior of washing over and over again to get rid of the bad smell got a little better through his counseling. Although he still thought his body had an unpleasant odor.   Time passed quickly. Four years later, Chae Yoo-jeong, who turned 18 in the winter, grew taller than anyone could recognize. Although his mind was still warped in some places and his personality was cynical, he was much more talkative than when he was younger.   “Game fair held in Busan?”   “Uh-huh, let’s go together.”   Kang Ji-ye held out a pamphlet. Chae Yoo-jeong, who didn’t even accept it but just glanced down, answered indifferently.   “I’m not going.”   “Why? You’re free anyway.”   “What does it have to do with me being free and going there?”   “Kyeong-seok oppa said I should never come alone!”   Kang Ji-ye was one of Yoo Gyeong-seok’s close younger friends. It had already been over a year since Kang Ji-ye, who was completely infatuated with Yoo Gyeong-seok and follows him around, and Chae Yoo-jeong, Yoo Gyeong-seok’s younger relative whom he takes exceptional care of, became acquainted with each other.   Even though Chae Yoo-jeong, who was four years younger than her, spoke informally and ignored her, Kang Ji-ye was unbothered. Her only interest was Yoo Kyeong-seok.   “I’ll do all the driving, so why aren’t you going? If it’s easier to take the KTX, I’ll pay for the ride.”   “Do you think I’m a beggar? Go away. I’m not going.”   “Would you be happy if you stayed in your room for over a month and took medicine? If you don’t go, I’ll tell the lady.”   Chae Yoo-jeong furrowed his brows in frustration and glared at Kang Ji-ye.   The lady that Kang Ji-ye spoke of was Yoo Gyeong-seok’s mother and Chae Yoo-jeong’s aunt. After a long time, the aunt and the woman reconciled and became quite close sisters, and they talked to each other about their experiences.   So, if Kang Ji-ye were to tell the lady, there was a high possibility that it would reach the woman’s ears. He didn’t want to cause trouble by needlessly attracting the woman’s attention, so Chae Yoo-jeong ended up taking the handed over pamphlet.   ***   When they arrived at the offline competition venue held within the expo, Yoo Gyeong-seok, who had been contacted, hurriedly ran to us.   Like Chae Yoo-jeong, Kang Ji-ye, who was standing with an expressionless face, immediately had a bright smile on her face when Yoo Gyeong-seok came.   “Chae Yoo-jeong came all the way here. Ji-ye must have had a tough time.”   “He never goes out alone.”   Yoo Gyeong-seok recently finished his professional career and turned to coaching. It’s said that he came with a team player to promote the amateur offline competition of the ‘Hero of Legends’ game, which started today.   “They are also promoting other games, so go around and take a look. Let’s meet again later. I’ll buy you dinner.”   Yoo Gyeong-seok, who came out briefly from work, quickly finished speaking and went back into the venue. Kang Ji-ye, who had come to see Chae Yoo-jeong and Yoo Gyeong-seok, had no particular interest even though there were many other interesting things to do, so she just sat in an empty chair at the convention hall.   The atmosphere in the once-cluttered competition hall changed soon after the competition began. Because it was an immensely popular game and a competition held by former professional gamers, the excitement was quite high.   Chae Yoo-jeong, leaning back in the chair with his arms crossed, looked in front of him with a bored expression. It was at that time that he slowly blinked his eyes while listening to the sounds of commentators and casters talking that echoed throughout the venue.   “……!”   Among the contestants entering the Red Team booth, he saw a particularly familiar face. Chae Yoo-jeong, who was surprised by him, quickly straightened his slouching upper body.   At first he thought he was mistaken. But no. It was a face he had seen dozens or hundreds of times in his dreams.   -Ah, the red team players have entered.   -What do you think of this match?   -I think the Jungler’s fight will be the most important for both teams.   -I have the same opinion. As is the case with today’s meta, both teams prefer to benefit from small-scale fights in the jungle rather than lane battles.   -The shoulders of Junglers on both teams must be heavy.   -In the case of the red team, ‘I’m so sleepy’ Yoo Ji-han, who is in charge being the Jungler, shows overly aggressive play. And he only chose heroes whose personal physical strength was significant. You know?   -Haha, I know. Yoo Ji-han is a player who has been talked about a lot since the preliminaries for having good physical skills.   ‘Yoo Ji-han......’   Thump thump, the sound of his heart rang in his ears, and all sounds faded away as if submerged in water. All he could see was Yoo Ji-han sitting in the booth in the distance.   Yoo Ji-han, who was chatting with a teammate sitting next to him, smiled softly, and put on the headset around his neck. Then he stretched his straight fingers and grabbed the mouse.   The series of actions slowly replayed and stuck in Chae Yoo-jeong’s mind. In a world that was infinitely dark and almost colorless, countless colors filled up as if paint had been poured.   ‘Yoo Ji-han!’   He wanted to stand up right now and shout out his name.   Really seeing each other again, he was so happy and thrilled, but instead his body became stiff as if he was broken.   ‘Do you remember me? You remember, right? I told you my name too. Only four years have passed, so shouldn’t you remember? I can’t even forget and even dream of you.’   For three hours from the start to the end of the game, Chae Yoo-jeong held his position, suppressing the urge to immediately run to Yoo Ji-han. Kang Ji-ye kept scolding him, asking why he was being so crazy, but he didn’t even listen.   But even after the game was over, there was no chance to meet Yoo Ji-han. There may have been a separate path behind the booth, but the audience did not come out below the venue.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was greatly heartbroken, had no choice but to ask Yoo Gyeong-seok at dinner.   “I want to meet the athletes who competed up close. Is there no way?”   “Tournament? Could it be that the Hero tournament is happening now?”   Yoo Gyeong-seok opened his mouth with an expression of surprise.   “Well. It won’t be easy because we’re ordinary people, not e-sports players. After the finals, there’s a separate interview booth right next to the competition. I think you can see them for a moment when I go there? It passes on the left side of the audience.”   “Finals.......”   “But why are you asking such questions about Hero? Do you want to try it?”   Chae Yoo-jeong, who ignored Yoo Gyeong-seok’s subsequent questions, fell into trouble. Since today was round 16, there’s three more days left until the finals.   If Yoo Gyeong-seok told him that he could meet Yoo Ji-han, he would have met him right away without any hesitation. He wasn’t helpful at all.   After being conflicted for a while, Chae Yoo-jeong eventually abandoned his plan to return back to Seoul and decided to watch Yoo Ji-han’s play in Busan for the remaining three days.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who went to watch the competition the next day, and the day after that, and the final without being late, watched Yoo Ji-han without paying any attention to others. Since it was a competition for a game he had never played before, it was unlikely to be fun, but for some reason, the more he looked, the more he couldn’t take his eyes off.   As if living up to Chae Yoo-jeong’s expectations, Yoo Ji-han easily advanced to the finals and won the competition. Yoo Ji-han, smiling with his teammates while holding a large card with the winning prize written on it, was as bright and magnificent as the sun, just like when he saw him in the hallway all those years ago.   ‘So cool.’   Yoo Ji-han, standing proudly in the center of the competition hall, shone brighter than anyone else in Chae Yoo-jeong’s life. His pounding heartbeat spread throughout his body.   “It’s over, so let’s go out before it gets too busy… What? Where are you going?”   Chae Yoo-jeong quickly left the scene, leaving Kang Ji-ye behind, and ran to the side of the audience where Yoo Gyeong-seok mentioned. There were quite a few onlookers there.   As he made his way through the crowd right in front of the fence, Yoo Ji-han came down from the competition venue with his teammates and walked towards them. Chae Yoo-jeong was trembling and spit out his name, which he had swallowed several times over the past four days.   “Yoo Ji-han... Hyung!”   He tried to call him by just his name, but he remembered Yoo Ji-han’s words asking him to call him ‘Oppa’ the day they last met four years ago, so he belatedly added the word ‘Hyung.’   Yoo Ji-han, who was passing right in front of him, stopped when he heard Chae Yoo-jeong’s call. Then, with a surprised expression, he looked straight at Chae Yoo-jeong. When his eyes met his, Chae Yoo-jeong’s heart was pounding so hard that it felt like it was going to burst at any moment, and heat surged up to the back of his neck.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was trembling from tension, curled his hand and clenched his fist, and continued speaking with difficulty.   “I’m Chae Yoo-jeong.”   Yoo Ji-han’s eyes widened slightly when he heard the name. Seeing that, Chae Yoo-jeong’s anticipation grew in size in an instant, like inflating a balloon.   ‘I’m sure you remember me.’   Otherwise, there was no way he would have reacted like that.   Unlike 4 years ago when he seemed much taller than himself, now the eye height was similar. The child who was small enough to be mistaken for a girl was no longer there.   So it was not unreasonable for him to be so surprised when he saw Chae Yoo-jeong. Above all, would he have dared to imagine that he would meet the child from four years ago again in this situation?   Chae Yoo-jeong himself was incredibly surprised when he saw Yoo Ji-han four days ago, so it must be the same with Yoo Ji-han.   That brief time of less than a minute felt exceedingly long. It was the moment when Chae Yoo-jeong swallowed his dry saliva and opened his mouth again.   “Long.......”   “Um, sorry.”   Yoo Ji-han, who erased his surprised expression and smiled shyly, answered me.   “I think you’re looking at the wrong person.”   --- Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor: Meimei, Ghostx Support on Kofi: Chapter 98,99,100 Chapter 101,102, 103, 104 HM: I feel a bit sad for YC. 96.   After that incident, Chae Yoo-jeong stopped going around the school looking for Yoo Ji-han.   During class, he sat like a doll, and when it was time for recess, he immediately plopped down on his desk. He spent most of the lunch hour hungry, but even when he did eat, he was always alone.   Time passed by without meaning to him as if it were colorless. Chae Yoo-jeong, who was lying face down on his desk and staring blankly at the sky outside his window, naturally realized something. That his mental state was not normal.   There wasn’t a single happy thing. When he finally met Yoo Ji-han, the lofty expectations had disappeared like a balloon pricked by a needle, so the blow was even worse.   If Yoo Ji-han finds out, he will definitely curse in outrage. He will be shocked because of what he saw back then from his perspective. Of course, he must be.   On the night of the snowfall, he clearly remembered the triangle kimbap he had received when he first met Yoo Ji-han. The warm energy he felt in his palm and the odor that covered his body... This was the first favor he received in his life.   ‘I’m so dirty.⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯.’   The meaning of ‘dirty’ that the woman spoke of may also include this aspect. No, it will definitely be included.   It was obvious that thinking about Yoo Ji-han any longer would only cause trouble. So he wanted to stop. Yoo Ji-han would have already forgotten him anyway. He was a person who shined like the sun and had many good people around him, so there was no way he would remember a guy like him.   Time passes and flows by. When light green buds were sprouting on the dry tree branches visible in the window, the woman notified Chae Yoo-jeong.   “Pack your bags in advance. We have to move.”   “…….”   It’s said that she decided to remarry some man. Chae Yoo-jeong had to transfer schools after less than two months due to his mother’s remarriage.   It doesn’t matter whether he has to live in the house of a stranger whom he has never seen  the face of or whether he has to abruptly transfer schools.   ‘Then never again...’   Can he meet Yoo Ji-han one last time? Of course, he hadn’t seen his face in over a month, but not seeing him for the rest of his life was a different matter.   When Chae Yoo-jeong couldn’t answer, the woman also got up from her seat without saying anything. Chae Yoo-jeong lowered his head as he watched the back of the woman who left him alone during the day on the weekend along with her handbag.   Okay. His answer didn’t matter in this situation. Once the woman has made a decision, he has no choice but to follow it. Maybe it’s an opportunity. Because it was abnormal to keep remembering someone you only met three times.   ... He certainly thought so, but during the week that remained until he moved, Chae Yoo-jeong kept wandering around the hallways or going out in front of his house several times at night. He didn’t understand why he’s like this.   But despite his efforts, Chae Yoo-jeong did not meet Yoo Ji-han until the day before he moved. Chae Yoo-jeong stuffed all his belongings into a delivery box, looked around the house, which was cluttered with boxed items, and walked in front of the window.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was sitting by the window with a clear view of the rusty iron gate and alley in front of the house and looking outside with his chin resting on his hand, noticed someone, and jumped up from his seat.   The person walking from the other side of the alley was clearly Yoo Ji-han. Unlike before school started, Yoo Ji-han walked to the front of the house wearing his school uniform and looked around as if he was looking for something. When Chae Yoo-jeong saw that, he couldn’t bear it any longer and ran out of the house.   He opened the iron door in a huff, wearing only his sneakers without even a coat on, and the back of Yoo Ji-han, who was leaving the alley, caught his eye. He could no longer hide the words that were up to his chin and spit them out.   “Yoo Ji-han!”   Yoo Ji-han, who heard the shout calling for him, turned around in surprise. When he saw that face, he felt sad.   “Wh-why are you ignoring me?”   “What?”   His confidence, which had been soaring for some reason, suddenly collapsed with one question from Yoo Ji-han. In an instant, Chae Yoo-jeong, who was completely discouraged, looked at Yoo Ji-han and timidly protested.   “Y-you ignored me...”   “I did?”   Yoo Ji-han, who had both his hands in his pants pocket and raised one eyebrow, didn’t really seem to know what Chae Yoo-jeong was talking about.   “At school.......”   “School?”   Yoo Ji-han, who was slowly rolling his eyes, nodded his head as if he had finally realized.   “Ah, right. You said you go to the same school as me, right?”   “Did you meet me at school?”   “We met. I tried to say hello, but you ignored me.”   “……”   “What ignoring? You’re making me feel like crap. I guess I just didn’t notice you and passed by. You’re kind of short.”   The word short struck his heart. At the same time, he was extremely happy to know that he hadn’t been ignored on purpose.   “Next time, I won’t miss you and will see you, so be sure to say hello.”   “......I can’t.”   “Why can’t you do it? What class are you in? I’ll come visit you next week.”   “No. I... I’m moving.”   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was biting his lip, finally confessed honestly. An enormous amount of regret washed over him like an ebbing tide.   Yoo Ji-han even promised that he would come to him first, but he was incredibly sad that he had already completed the school transfer process and was ready to move. If he had known this would happen, he would have mustered up the courage to meet him one more time.   Yoo Ji-han also reacted with surprise, as if he had not known that he would be moving.   “Where are you going?”   “I... I don’t know.”   “You don’t know?”   “I’m not lying, I really don’t know. Mom made her own decision, so I am forced to go.”   Although he was worried that it might sound too grumpy, Yoo Ji-han’s expression didn’t change much.   “Hmm... okay. It’s a shame.”   This was the end of the answer. Yoo Ji-han’s feelings of regret were also different in depth from Chae Yoo-jeong.   Chae Yoo-jeong once again realized the difference between Yoo Ji-han and himself. Maybe, even though he’s faced with someone he’ll never meet again in his life, he’ll only feel regret for a moment, and from tomorrow onwards, he’ll go on with his daily life and quickly forget what happened to Chaw Yoo-jeong.   When he realized that, he suddenly felt anxious. He wanted to somehow make Yoo Ji-han remember him. He wanted to meet at least once more in the future. He wanted to show a much different side of himself than his present unsightly self and become his friend like others effortlessly did.   “M-my name.”   “……?”   “It’s Chae Yoo-jeong.”   Heat spread all over his face even though he was barely giving his name.   “Make sure to remember.”   His large hands, compared to his size, held Yoo Ji-han’s arms tightly. He was so nervous, but he couldn’t help but say it because he thought he wouldn’t be able to tell it if it wasn’t now.   “I hope we meet again someday.”   “……”   “So remember my name.”   Yoo Ji-han, who was standing still with his arm held by Chae Yu-jeong, slowly blinked his eyes at the words that followed. Eventually, the corners of his mouth gently turned up.   “ Unn , I’ll remember.”   Chae Yoo-jeong’s neck and ears were now red at the sound of his sweet voice. Yoo Ji-han smiled as if Chae Yoo-jeong was cute and raised his hand.   “I have to go now.”   “ Unn .”   He stroked Chae Yoo-jeong’s head a couple of times as if he was petting a puppy and added playfully just before turning his back.   “Next time you see me, please be polite. Call me oppa.”   “......What?”   “Take care wherever you go.”   While Chae Yoo-jeong froze at the appearance of an unexpected word, Yoo Ji-han leisurely left the alley. Whoosh, the still chilly early spring wind blew.   ‘Call me oppa...?’   Did he ever think of him as a woman? Did he go away before he could resolve the problem?   No matter how short he is, was he so short that one would mistake him for a woman? He also wore a men’s school uniform... Ah. Yoo Ji-han said he didn’t see him, so he didn’t know.    ’I guess he knew me as a real woman.’   His shock was so great that he could not move his body. Chae Yoo-jeong covered his mouth with his hand. His face was now red in a different way than before.   He was so embarrassed. And it was humiliating. In the end, all Yoo Ji-han knew was his own name. It was clear that he didn’t notice any of his feelings of wanting to somehow meet again and become close friends. He didn’t even know his gender, so there was no way he could know about what Chae Yoo-jeong was feeling.   “Haa.......”   Chae Yoo-jeong, covering his face with both hands, lowered his head and let out a deep sigh. He was truly annoyed that he was shorter than others.   Chae Yoo-jeong lowered his hand that was covering his face and gritted his teeth. His exposed eyes were also burning with an ardent desire unlike before.   Just wait and see. He will change so much by the time they meet again someday.   If he only remembers his name… They can start from there. Chae Yoo-jeong will proudly say that the short kid he met when he was young was him.   Dreaming of a future where he would one day meet Yoo Ji-han again, Chae Yoo-jeong looked at the alley where Yoo Ji-han had left for a long time afterwards.   --- Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor: Meimei Support on Kofi: Chapter 97,98,99,100 Chapter 101,102, 103, 104 HM: I’m surprised that he is explaining this to him now….. wow…   We made a Discord Server ! please join us!

    95.   It was a week and a day later that he met that boy again.   Just like when they first met, the boy with a school bag on his back and a convenience store bag in his hand was passing through the alley in front of his house, and when he saw Chae Yoo-jeong, his eyes widened slightly. The boy also remembered Chae Yoo-jeong.   “Uh, hi.”   Unlike Chae Yoo-jeong, who looked out the window and checked the alley every day in case the boy passed by, his reaction was very calm.   When Chae Yoo-jeong saw the boy walking close to him, he secretly smelled his own body. Fortunately, there was less odor today.   “Do you live here?”   Just like last time, the boy spoke informally as a matter of course.   He seemed to think that Chae Yoo-jeong was much younger than him. Not surprisingly, the boy was one head taller than Chae Yoo-jeong. The difference was due to the fact that the boy was much taller than his peers, and Chae Yoo-jeong was much shorter than his peers.   The boy approached Chae Yoo-jeong, who was hesitant and unable to answer, and took something out of his convenience store bag and held it out, just like last time. This time it was a light-yellow sausage.   The boy smiled slightly as if he thought Chae Yoo-jeong was cute and asked as he took the sausage out so that it would reach him.   “What is your name?”   “……”   “How old are you?”   “…….”   Chae Yoo-jeong blinked his big eyes and pursed his lips. Despite ignoring everything he said, the boy didn’t seem particularly offended, and sat down on the steps of the alley.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was glancing at him, sat down as well, about three steps away from him. The two sat side by side and ate the sausages in silence.   Chae Yoo-jeong followed the boy’s lead, ripped off the plastic skin on the outside of the sausage, and took a bite. The sausage he ate for the first time following the triangle gimbap last time was really delicious.   After about 10 minutes, the boy who had finished eating the sausage got up from his seat. Then he left without any regrets, without even giving Chae Yoo-jeong a chance to catch him.   The meeting that had been waiting for over a week ended in vain like this. Chae Yoo-jeong, who had been sitting in silence for a long time after the boy left, lamented belatedly.   ‘That’s stupid.......’   He kept waiting and when they actually met, he felt so stupid that he couldn’t say a single word properly. He wanted to at least say thank you.   ‘Just going to eat it again.’   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was looking down at the plastic sausage wrapper left in his hand, raised his head, and looked at the alley across from where the boy had disappeared.   ***   After his second meeting with a boy who he didn’t even know the name of, the person Chae Yoo-jeong waited for late at night changed from the woman to the boy.   Chae Yoo-jeong was hoping that the boy would come visit him at least once more like his first and his second encounter. At the end of February, ten days later, he finally found that the boy had appeared in the alley again.   Chae Yoo-jeong ran out in a hurry, taking the small piece of candy he had managed to find after searching through his house. Suddenly, he pushed aside the rusty iron door and came out in front of his house, and the boy who had been scrambling while looking at his cell phone noticed Chae Yoo-jeong.   “Uh, hi.”   He greeted him the same way as last time. Feeling the sound of his heart pounding, Chae Yoo-jeong struggled to open his mouth.   “...Hi.”   It was a voice as small as an ant. But just that short answer made him so nervous that he couldn’t help but stutter.   The boy who managed to hear that small greeting looked surprised for a moment, but then smiled his characteristic soft smile.   “Do you even know how to say hello?”   “……”   Chae Yoo-jeong blushed, not knowing how to react to the light tease. The boy, who was looking curiously at Chae Yoo-jeong’s cheeks as he stood on his feet, said as he put his cell phone in his coat pocket.   “I don’t have anything to eat today.”   Certainly, unlike last time, there were no convenience store bags today. Chae Yoo-jeong shook his small head and held out his hand, which was tightly holding a candy.   When he opened his fist, clenching it so hard that his skin turned white, the little candy fell out. His yellow packaging shell sparkled in the streetlight.   “Are you giving it to me?”   This time Chae Yoo-jeong’s head bobbed up and down. The boy who was looking around at the candy with a strange expression asked.   “How old are you?”   “14 years old.”   “What? really?”   The boy, who opened the candy wrapper without caution and immediately put it in his mouth, showed a very surprising reaction when he heard Chae Yoo-jeong’s answer.   “I thought you were 12 at most.”   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was offended by the words of the boy who shaved two years off his age, fiercely retorted.   “I’m 14.”   “I’m 15.”   The boy, who chewed the candy and slowly spit out a word, lowered his upper body and made eye contact with Chae Yoo-jeong.   “When you’re 14, you start middle school, right? Where do you go to school?”   “...Next to here.”   “Yuseong Middle School? I go there too. School starts next week. If I do well, I can meet you at school.”   Chae Yoo-jeong’s round eyes shone as he continued to speak. Same school? So, instead of just snooping around in front of the window like now, we can meet whenever we want?   Chae Yoo-jeong never enjoyed the place called school even for a single moment. But somehow he felt a little happy thinking that this boy was in the middle school he was going to start next week.   “That’s…….”   It was the moment when Chae Yoo-jeong, who had been hesitant, finally had the courage to open his mouth to ask his name. A vibrating sound rang out of the boy’s coat pocket and interrupted his words.   “Thank you for the candy.”   The boy took out his cell phone, checked the screen, spoke a final greeting, and turned his back without hesitation.   Unlike Chae Yoo-jeong, who still had a lot of questions, the other person didn’t seem to be very interested in him. If you think about it, that attitude was normal. Who would pay attention to a child you just met by chance on the street and talked to for about 10 minutes?   Chae Yoo-jeong was even less sociable than the other children and was extremely timid. And he stinks... and it’s not much fun to talk to him....   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was left alone where the boy left him, continued trudging along, blaming himself for how pathetic he is as usual. Still, he gave the candy today and found out that they were at the same school, so it’s not like he didn’t get anything out of it. That fact was the only comfort to him.   ***   As February passed and March passed, Chae Yoo-jeong became a middle school student and wore a school uniform.   While he didn’t know the boy’s name and was worried about how he would find someone in the same school, Chae Yoo-jeong was able to hear about the boy right away just a few days after school started.   He said the boy’s name was Yoo Ji-han and he was in class 5, of the second year. He was quite famous around school for his decent grades and neat behavior. It was said that many girls liked him, perhaps because of his looks.   He was so popular that it even reached the ears of Chae Yoo-jeong, who had no friends and rarely went out of class. Contrary to Chae Yoo-jeong’s expectation that they would meet at any time if they were in the same school, the two did not see each other even once until the end of March, almost a month later.   Since the grades were different and most classes were held in classrooms, there was not much time to go around the school. He waited every night to see if Yoo Ji-han would pass by the alley in front of his house, but he never came.   In the end, Chae Yoo-jeong couldn’t bear it any longer and, feeling like he was grasping at straws, he went out into the hallway alone. He planned to look around the school every recess and lunch hour to meet Yoo Ji-han, who might be somewhere.   Chae Yoo-jeong, whose shoulders were stiff from tension, was shorter in height and build than his female students. Chae Yoo-jeong staggered out of the classroom and started walking down the hallway as his feet took him.   ‘Where is he?’   The hallway where all kinds of students wandered around was a lawless area in an unusual way from the classroom.   It was truly horrible because there were noisy, rude, and careless people running around indiscriminately. Chae Yoo-jeong walked around the hallways whenever he had time, suppressing the disgust rising from deep in his heart.   Three days passed like that. He visited all the places he could but couldn’t find Yoo Ji-han. He made a firm determination and went to class 5 of the second year, but Yoo Ji-han was nowhere to be seen.   It was at that time that Chae Yoo-jeong let out a sigh of exhaustion and was about to go down the stairs and return to his class. Across from him, a group of male students, who were burlier than average students, approached while making a loud noise.   “……!”   The person in the center of the group of five or six people was Yoo Ji-han, whom Chae Yoo-jeong had been looking for. He was walking with a soccer ball and smiled brightly when his friend said something.   Unlike Chae Yoo-jeong, who was dressed tightly, including his tie, Yoo Ji-han was wearing a school uniform shirt with all buttons undone over his short-sleeved t-shirt. The sight of Yoo Ji-han coming towards him, chatting lively with his friends, felt so bright to him, like the midday sun.   His heart pounded loudly as he came face to face with Yoo Ji-han, who was so different from himself. He gave strength to his slightly trembling hand and opened his mouth towards Yoo Ji-han, who had come right in front of him.   “Yoo……”   “The kid kicking the ball over there is crazy!”   “Now, it looks like Ji-han’s buying drinks because of you.”   “Anyway, I got points with that, so why all the fuss?”   Before Chae Yoo-jeong could finish speaking, someone hit his shoulder hard. Yoo Ji-han and a group of male students who did not hear Chae Yoo-jeong’s call passed by, talking amongst themselves. It was Yoo Ji-han who hit his shoulder.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was pushed back by his strength, was completely pushed back by just hitting his shoulder, causing his back to hit the wall in the hallway. When he finally met Yoo Ji-han, his once flushed face instantly turned pale.   I’m sick of it.   Yoo Ji-han’s voice became increasingly distant. In the place where Yoo Ji-han’s pleasant-to-hear voice disappeared, several voices mocking him filled up.   “Look at that bastard.”   “It’s so embarrassing.”   He looked around but could not see the owner of the voice. However, it was not visible to his eyes, but he could constantly hear the sound of ridicule.   The sense of nausea rose strongly. Confused, Chae Yoo-jeong left his place as if he was running away by moving his feet in a hurry.   --- Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor: Meimei Support on Kofi: Chapter 82, 83, 84 Chapter 85, 86, 87, 88 Chapter 89, 90, 91, 92 HM: I sorta feel sad but at the same time…. 94.   “Yoo Ji-han. Are you okay?”   Kim Dae-seok frowned suspiciously and asked out of worry. I answered calmly, emptying my soju glass in one go.   “What.”   “Why on earth did you get thinner than when you were doing assignments and exams?”   “........”   “Don’t overdo it.”   “That bastard Eun Hae-seong also asked me yesterday if something was wrong with me? Do I really look that bad?”   Even though Kim Dae-seok was worried, he immediately filled the empty glass with soju. I grinned and held up my refilled soju glass.   “I haven’t had an appetite the past few days, that’s all.”   “Are you sick to death? Why do you suddenly have no appetite that is so damn bad?”   “Don’t you guys know me?”   In fact, I knew they knew me very well... but I didn’t want to reveal the story about Chae Yoo-jeong, so I pretended not to know.   I had already told Kim Dae-seok that Chae Yoo-jeong and Yoo Chae were not the same person, and I had no desire to explain the problem with Chae Yoo-jeong to others and receive comfort. I didn’t feel like getting any relief would make me feel better.   “Stop talking nonsense and have a drink.”   When I filled Kim Dae-seok’s empty glass with soju and turned to him, Kim Dae-seok clicked his tongue and obediently clinked the glasses together.   After drinking with Kim Dae-seok until closing hour, when I came out of the store, thick snowflakes were falling under the night sky. There has been a lot of snow these days.   -Ever since a long time ago, good things have always happened when it snows   As I looked at the white snow falling from the sky, I thought of Chae Yoo-jeong.   -Today, I am the happiest I’ve ever been   When I remembered his brightly smiling face with a sincere confession, I was filled with hot emotions and the corners of my eyes were distorted.   It’s been a week since Chae Yoo-jeong’s birthday and the day I found out about his betrayal. From that day on, Chae Yoo-jeong contacted me every single day, but I never once responded to him.   I deliberately didn’t read the piled up messages and didn’t answer the phone. I can’t bear to block it, so I just leave it alone... but I can’t continue to ignore it like this.   It snowed non-stop even while returning home. I didn’t feel like wearing a coat or a hat, so I just rolled my eyes and took out a cigarette from my pocket. Just as I was about to put a cigarette in my mouth, I saw a person under the light of the street lamp across from me.   Chae Yoo-jeong, hearing the sound of footsteps, raised his head and made eye contact with me. He must have been waiting for a long time, and his hair was wet in the light of the street lamp.   “Hyung……”   I quietly put away the cigarette in my hand. I wasn’t that surprised or offended when Chae Yu-jeong came to visit. I rather expected that the time had come for him to come.   Not only Chae Yoo-jeong but also I had reached the limit of patience. This problem had to be solved one way or another. Even if the conclusion is not good.   As I walked over without saying a word, Chae Yoo-jeong lowered his head. Thick teardrops overflowed from the corners of his heated eyes. Chae Yoo-jeong stuttered and opened his mouth, swallowing his harsh breath to hold back his cries.   “I’m sorry I came to you on my own.”   “.......”   “I understand that you don’t like me. But I really, ugh, I can’t end it like this...”   My head hurt as I watched Chae Yoo-jeong continue to cry, unable to control his emotions.   “I understand, so stop crying.”   “S-sorry…I’m sorry…”   “You said you would explain everything to me then.”   I spoke firmly, ignoring Chae Yoo-jeong’s pleading face.   “Follow me. Let’s hear what a great explanation it is.”   Chae Yoo-jeong pursed his lips. But in the end he couldn’t refuse and chased after me as I walked ahead.   I took Chae Yoo-jeong to a 24-hour cafe near my house and sat down with him in an isolated corner.   In the meantime, Chae Yoo-jeong, who had finally stopped crying, seemed to have calmed down a little, and was shivering in the pale daylight even in the warm room. I said, without paying attention.   “Please explain however you feel comfortable. I’ll listen to whatever I feel comfortable with.”   “.......”   “I will make a judgment after hearing everything.”   It was the last consideration I could give Chae Yoo-jeong. Chae Yoo-jeong, who hesitated for a while, started to speak with a resigned look.   ***   The woman who married the man she loved became pregnant the following year.   With a man who was genuinely happy about her pregnancy and congratulations from those around her, the woman raised the child in her belly without much worry.   But her happiness did not last long. Her peaceful daily life was suddenly destroyed by the man’s affair when she was eight months pregnant. The person he was having an affair with was a woman from the same workplace.   As soon as the man was discovered having an affair, he left the woman and her unborn child without any regrets. For a woman who was abandoned by the man she loved in the blink of an eye, the child in her stomach was no longer a welcome presence.   There was no way that Chae Yoo-jeong, the child born that way, would have been loved by a normal family.   The second floor of an old 10-pyeong villa with a kitchen and two small rooms. Chae Yoo-jeong lived there with a woman who was busy working.   Time passed and it was a day in February when Chae Yoo-jeong graduated from elementary school and he turned 14.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was watching the snowflakes falling beyond the window, hurriedly ran when he heard the sound of the front door opening. When the woman returned late at night, she smelled strongly of alcohol.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was anxiously watching the drunk woman staggering around, tried to take off her shoes, but was startled by her staggering body and reflexively grabbed his arm. But the woman mercilessly shook off her child’s hand.   “Dirty.......”   “…….”   The criticism, spat out in a slurred pronunciation, became a sharp needle, and pierced his heart painfully. The disgust he had vaguely felt since he was a child touched his skin more clearly than ever before.   The woman who pushed Chae Yoo-jeong’s unconscious body in frustration stumbled and entered her room. Left alone in front of the front door, Yoo-jeong blinked his eyes, and then he smelled his body.   Then a really strong odor came from his body. The woman said he was dirty because he really was dirty. Chae Yoo-jeong didn’t know what to do and looked alternately between the bathroom and the room the woman entered.   ‘What do I do.......’   He had to wash my body to get rid of his smell, but if he turned on the water while she was sleeping, he would probably get scolded for being noisy. Chae Yoo-jeong, who had been pacing in front of the bathroom, smelling his own body several times, eventually picked up a thin coat, put it on, and carefully opened the front door.   He couldn’t stay at home because he was so worried about the bad smell coming from his body. If he couldn’t wash, he had no choice but to go out so he couldn’t smell it.   Chae Yoo-jeong came out in the middle of winter and sat with his butt in front of a heavily rusted iron gate. Chae Yoo-jeong shrugged his shoulders and held his hands together as the chilly wind blew that threatened to engulf him.   Chae Yoo-jeong felt quite satisfied, even though he was cold, because the snow fluttering under the yellow street lights was like flower petals. As he looked at the snowflakes twinkling in the light, he felt the cold on his skin a little less.   He was in that state for a while and he was staring blankly into his eyes. An umbrella appeared out of nowhere and blocked Chae Yoo-jeong’s view.   Chae Yoo-jeong reflexively curled his body and turned his head to the side. Then the large umbrella tilted slightly to his side, revealing the face of the person standing in front of him.   “Hi.”   His facial features revealed beneath his hair, which was as black as the night sky, were very straight. The boy carrying a school bag on his back naturally greeted him while holding an umbrella in one hand and a convenience store bag in the other.   “What are you doing here?”   The boy asked Chae Yoo-jeong again, who was frozen in shock. Chae Yoo-jeong barely answered that innocent question, which did not show the slightest hint of malice on his part, wriggling his clasped hands.   He didn’t even know why he felt cold because his body heats up for no reason due to the interest that a stranger is showing him. He was overly concerned about the person approaching him.   ‘It’s going to stink.’   He was afraid that he would call him dirty like that woman did.   “Huh? Aren’t you cold?”   “Not really.......”   The boy, who stared at Yoo-jeong for a moment without making eye contact and answering vaguely, rummaged through the convenience store bag, and held out something.   “Do you want to eat this?”   Chae Yoo-jeong accepted the thing he gave without even knowing what it was because he handed it to him so suddenly and without hesitation. A warm feeling spread out from his palm. Funnily enough, what the boy handed out was a piece of warmed triangle kimbap.   “It’s my favorite flavor, you eat it.”   “……”   Before Chae Yoo-jeong, who was taken aback by the sudden appearance of triangle kimbap, could reply, the boy left without any regrets. Chae Yoo-jeong, who had received something for the first time in his life, looked down at the triangle kimbap with a dazed expression.   There was a faint, fragrant smell. He had the illusion that the smell of the triangle kimbap was covering up his own bad smell.   Chae Yoo-jeong looked at the place where the boy had left for a long time, holding a triangle kimbap that felt warmth.   --- Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor: Meimei Support on Kofi: Chapter 82, 83, 84 Chapter 85, 86, 87, 88 Chapter 89, 90, 91, 92 HM: It seems that he met him earlier. omg GX: I did not expect it to go down the childhood crush route, I thought it was only middle/high school infatuation. 106. “Tiamat. So what about this one? He’ll remove the barrier and try to run amok too. Isn’t that what you did last time? He wants to kill a lot of humans himself.” Tiamat, who had objected the whole time, hesitated. “...Is that okay?" "What can you not do?" “Tiamat-nim!” Embarrassed, Kai called out Tiamat's name, but it seemed that she was already gone mentally. Even with her tattered hands, her eyes were shining. In this state, there was no going back. Kai closed his eyes tightly. "It sucks." His hoarse voice intervened. "Do you think I'll just watch it happen?" Hyeon-woo stood crookedly and glared at Libby. “Of course I don’t. But this one is not alone. I'm a little curious. How are you going to stop us both?" As soon as those words were spoken, Kai's barrier was lifted. “Krrruk!” Tiamat, who maintained her human form the whole time, immediately shifted to her real body. The building collapsed in the process, but no one was affected except for Bacardi, who passed out. “It’s not fair.” When Hyeon-woo, who escaped unscathed, said that, Libby replied with a smile. "It would have been no fun if you died with that. We don't need useless humans.” "Puha! What, what!" Bacardi crawled out of the rubble on his own. The broken limbs also seemed to have recovered to some extent. He staggered, but was standing up. Then, Kai also returned to his original form. The feeling of intimidation was great as two huge figures blocked the way. As he was looking at the two of them, Libby stepped out between them. "Okay then, let's fight." It was a relaxed attitude, as if he knew he had an advantage. Hyeon-woo burst into laughter as he saw that. Then he asked. “Did you come to this realm with all your strength?” “You’re curious about that?” "Yeah." “Hmmm. I don’t see the need to tell you.” Hyeon-woo decided. Alberg, who came over using the portal that appeared in the middle, came over here with a lot of strength. Compared to him, Libby, who would have prepared thoroughly, would have come with more strength, but she wasn't afraid. “It’s only part of it.” Because Hyeon-woo, unlike those demons, came over here with all his strength intact. Among the demons, there were quite a few who did not believe that he had fought Alberg. Because Alberg was the best among them. However, Hyeon-woo actually fought him and did not lose. “Okay, let’s fight.” The first to move was Tiamat. She spread her big wings and tried to fly. If her wings were attacked, she would be useless, but Kai, a hydra, was protecting her from below. Hyeon-woo took a deep breath. He thought back to the days in the Demon Realm. After a terrible struggle, he had gained new powers. In a way, it was no different from Bacardi's power. The only difference was that Bacardi obtained it without effort, and Hyeon-woo obtained it through effort. Hyeon-woo's shadow swayed and increased his volume. No, if one looked closely, it wasn't a shadow. "Hoo?" Libby looked at Hyeon-woo with a curious gaze. “You can use Demonic energy? Are you a human similar to Bacardi?” “Think whatever you want.” Hyeon-woo, whose entire body was covered in pitch-black smoke, replied. It was not easy to survive in the Demon Realm with pure human power. So he accepted it to survive. And while fighting, he learned how to gradually increase the amount of magic. He decided on a direction and refined his magic. Thus, he finally got his hands on enough power to fight Alberg. “Krrrrng.” The cry of the beast came from the smoke that had increased in volume. “Ahahaha!” Tiamat heard someone's laugh. There was a small whispering voice, the sound of footsteps, and the sound of metal. Then, all sounds stopped immediately. Watching it gave her goosebumps for some reason. But Tiamat didn't forget what she was doing. She took advantage of the silence and soared into the sky. Her gigantic body rose rapidly into the air. It was then something stretched out of the smoke and flew towards Tiamat. Kai was the first to notice and stepped in front of her. He tried to block the attack by swinging his neck. Kai had strong regenerative power. So he believed in it and stopped it, but the result was disastrous. A long black spear passed through the Hydra's neck and pierced Tiamat. At the last moment, she twisted her body so it didn't pierce her fully, but the blood membrane on her wings was punctured. It started out as a small hole, but the more she flapped her wings, the bigger the wound got. “Krrk!” Tiamat fell to the ground on the spot. Thud! She landed properly, but the ground shook and a loud sound rang out. "Ick!" Tiamat, who straightened her body, gnashed her teeth. But the attacks did not stop there. As Hyeon-woo swung his arm, a black spear flew out again. “Stop!” At Tiamat's cry, Kai stood out again. Although it was only enough to slow down the attack, that alone gave Tiamat enough time to evade. He didn't know what to do before the first hit, but now he knew to evade it. “Are you good at avoiding? How about this then?" Dozens of spears appeared in the air. Seeing him, Kai swallowed without even realizing it. He sacrificed one neck to block one. But there are dozens of such spears. Could he stop it? No, he couldn't stop it. Maybe today, this spot would become a graveyard. Kai put on a dejected expression. To overcome his fear of Hyeon-woo, he clung to Tiamat, but in the end, he couldn't overcome anything. Dozens of spears flew in, and Kai closed his eyes in anticipation of his death. But even after a long time, he felt no new pain. Then, when he opened his eyes, Libby was standing in front of him. “They’re still necessary, so you can’t kill them yet.” Libby was holding a large shield before he knew it. It was a divine weapon of the Demon Realm and was his favorite weapon. “I've seen attacks like this before, by the way. Ifricott, ranked 12th. Isn't that his skill? He was a spearman. He handled spears well, but his ranged attacks using demonic energy were excellent. Did you learn something from him?” “Should I say that I learned it?” Hyeon-woo tilted his head. And asked. “Am I obligated to answer that?” “No.” Libby replied, putting down his shield. “But I’m curious.” “Then die curious.” Hyeon-woo started attacking again. Libby skillfully countered Hyeon-woo's attack. He was strong, but not to the point of being unstoppable. Moreover, the spear was only being created near Hyeon-woo. As soon as she realized that, Tiamat tried to jump forward again. "It's not possible!" Feeling strange, Kai belatedly stopped it, but she was already late. For the first time, a spear was created somewhere other than near Hyeon-woo. The back of Tiamat's head. "Back!" At Kai's cry, Tiamat quickly returned to her human form. Then his spear passed in vain over her head. "What." Goosebumps ran down her spine, and cold sweat broke out. If she was even a little late to transform, she would have died. From then on, spears spawned here and there, aiming for their lives. 'I was tricked!' Most of the attacks were blocked by Libby, but some fell on them as well. Everything was like a nightmare. How much time had passed like that? Libby, who had been blocking the attack the entire time, lowered his shield. “It’s boring to keep blocking. Are there any other attacks besides this?" “You want something else?” “Could you?” "Then I'll show you well." Suddenly, her feet felt cold. Tiamat jumped up from her seat and climbed onto Kai's torso. Her senses were exactly right. At one point, a black thorny vine that bloomed tried to snatch Tiamat's foot. If she got caught by her ankle while avoiding the spear, she would have been done for. “Ooh, this again.” Libby exclaimed as he watched the vine digging into his ankle. “Maia?” Tiamat let out a groan. Was she 18th place in the demon realm? There was a demon with the ability to handle plants freely. Unlike Ifricott, she had some interaction with her. “Have you seen her lately? No, not if you’re asking me. Come to think of it, Maia hadn’t shown up for some time.” “Maia? Do you know that demon?” "It's a demon with the ability to manipulate plants." Simply manipulate the plants. It was versatile enough to be defined as such. Not only did they use vines to bind their opponents, but they also poisoned them with plant poison. That was why she also interacted with Tiamat, who also uses poison. But to even use Maia's power? Something was strange. 93.   Chae Yoo-jeong and the woman, Kang Ji-ye, who did not notice that I was right behind them, continued their conversation.   “Stop pushing! Do you think it was me who wanted to come?”   Kang Ji-ye, who had parked her car right next to the road, frowned and shouted nervously.   “I came because Kyung-seok oppa asked me to come and see your face since it’s your birthday!”   “If you are going to come, please contact me in advance. Why do you give up on all contact and just come to me on your own?”   “If you had answered my call earlier, I would have just thrown the cake at you and gone home.”   Kang Ji-ye, exhaling heavily, filled with frustration, continued her words.   “Chae Yoo-jeong. Why didn’t you explain that you were in contact with Yoo Ji-han?”   My name came up very naturally in their conversation. I reflexively twitched my hand and looked at Chae Yoo-jeong’s expression.   Chae Yu-jeong, who was glaring at Kang Ji-ye with narrowed eyes, answered in a cold voice.   “Why should I explain that to you? And don’t call Hyung’s name carelessly. How close are you to Yoo Ji-han, anyway?”   “Does that matter now?”   “Then?”   “Shouldn’t you have let me know in advance if you were going to boldly come to pick up Yoo Ji-han at the guild meeting? How can you do this when you clearly know I’m there too?”   Kang Ji-ye touched her forehead as if her head hurt.   “Do you know what Yoo Ji-han and I talked about before you came? I asked if he was in touch with Yoo Chae. But he said he didn’t?”   “…….”   “Why did you show up to pick him up when you clearly broke off your relationship with him? Do you know how surprised I was to see you?”   I slowly closed my eyes and opened them, feeling my blood go cold.   As I unconsciously tightened my fist, the handle of the cake box I was holding was distorted by my reckless movements.   “I met Hyung for a different reason. I’m going to completely quit Zenoris and won’t be playing as Yoo Chae, so it doesn’t really matter.”   “...Wait a minute, Chae Yoo-jeong. I’m asking just in case.”   After hearing Chae Yoo-jeong’s words, Kang Ji-ye noticed something strange and opened her mouth.   “Is it possible that Yoo Ji-han doesn’t know that you are Yoo Chae? So now...”   Before Kang Ji-ye could finish her question, a short beeping sound rang on my cell phone. The notification sound that rang from the cell phone in my hand was clearly audible to the two people who were ten steps away.   Only then did Kang Ji-ye and Chae Yoo-jeong discover me and their eyes widened in shock. I stared at Chae Yoo-jeong, whose complexion instantly turned white, then looked down and checked his cell phone.   Funnily enough, the identity of the notification sound was a text message from the dessert shop thanking them for purchasing. As I read it, the cake box I was holding in my other hand felt very heavy.   “Hyung….”   “Hello.”   Ignoring Chae Yoo-jeong’s eye contact, I smiled softly at Kang Ji-ye and said a greeting, which greatly embarrassed her.   “Ah, unn, Well... when did you get here...”   “I’m sorry, Noona.”   I put my cell phone in my coat pocket while cutting off Kang Ji-ye’s words.   “Could you please give me time with him? I have something to talk about with Chae Yoo-jeong.” No matter how much I tried to suppress my emotions and calmly resolve the situation, my voice inevitably came out cold.   Kang Ji-ye, who looked at me and Chae Yoo-jeong in turn with an embarrassed look, eventually nodded.   “Okay. I was going to go anyway. It’s not my place to intervene.”   Kang Ji-ye, who sighed, added one last thing to Chae Yoo-jeong.   “Later, when you come to your senses, call Kyung-seok oppa. I’ll be there.”   Kang Ji-ye got into the car and left the place. I watched the car until it completely disappeared from sight, then turned my attention to Chae Yoo-jeong.   Chae Yoo-jeong’s face was seen as pale as a corpse. The man’s lips trembled as he stood there, unable to open the door for me to speak first.   “Chae Yoo-jeong.”   As I calmly called his name, Chae Yoo-jeong’s shoulders trembled greatly.   “Answer straight from your mouth.”   “........”   “Are you Yoo Chae?”   Chae Yoo-jeong, whose pupils were shaking intensely, eventually closed his eyes tightly. Cold sweat formed on his temples.   “……Yes.”   After hesitating for a long time, Chae Yoo-jeong answered in a voice as rough as sandpaper.   It was the answer I expected, but when I heard it, a strong pain radiated from my chest. I had a tough time swallowing the unknown emotions that rose up to the end of my throat.   “Okay.”   “Hyung.”   “Take this.”   I didn’t want to see Chae Yoo-jeong’s face anymore. With my head slightly lowered, I forced the guy to take the cake box I was holding.   “You said you like this. Take it and eat it.”   “W-wait a minute, Hyung.”   “I’m going.”   I turned my back without looking at Chae Yoo-jeong’s face until the end. I turned back the way I came and walked down the alley next to me.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who was standing there in a daze while holding the cake box, began to hurriedly chase after me.   “Hyu-hyung. Wait a minute! Wait, I...!”   A trembling, hot energy spread from deep within. It wasn’t just anger caused by being deceived. It was more complicated than that... I didn’t have the confidence to face it properly.   My mind was so dizzy. I felt nauseous. No matter how much I thought about it, I wasn’t normal right now. So, I ignored Chae Yoo-jeong’s cries and walked steadily.   “Hyung! D-don’t go. Don’t go like this, please! I’ll explain everything. I will. Please!”   The footsteps were getting closer quickly. I bit my lip and increased my walking speed.   Don’t touch it. Don’t hold on to it, just let it go like this. As for me, I don’t have the confidence to talk rationally, so if I had known what he was doing to me...   “Hyung......!”   A formidable force grabbed my arm. When I felt that, my barely perceptible thoughts suddenly stopped and the emotions I had been suppressing burst out.   I gritted my teeth and shook off Chae Yoo-jeong’s hand, then stretched out my arm and roughly grabbed Chae Yoo-jeong’s collar. Chae Yoo-jeong coughed, pushed by my strength, and hit the wall hard. The recoil caused the cake box to fall to the floor.   “Can you explain? How are you going to explain?”   As I made eye contact with eyes filled with fear, emotions I didn’t even know existed overflowed like a tidal wave. Among the many emotions, the one I felt most keenly was the feeling of betrayal.   “You pretended not to notice when I was confused, and now you’re explaining it to me...?”   “Hyung……”   “I kept asking, how many times?! What did you answer each time?”   “…….”   “You said you didn’t know. You said no! Fuck, but what? Can you explain now?”   I felt resentful. Chae Yoo-jeong, who deceived me. And this shitty situation itself that I found out about today.   If you were going to deceive, you should have deceived more thoroughly. I should have been able to deliver the cake to you with a smile. I should have done that......   “Did you have fun?”   My chest hurt terribly, as if it had been cut to pieces. It hurt so much.   “You must have laughed a lot when you saw me adjusting to the beat without knowing anything.”   “I didn’t, I didn’t!”   Tears poured down from Chae Yoo-jeong’s wide-open eyes. Chae Yoo-jeong gasped and said in denial, desperately shaking his head.   “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’ve never thought of Hyu-Hyung like that. I didn’t laugh. I... I am just…”   “How can I believe that?”   “……”   “How can I believe...”   I was the one who really wanted to cry. But when I looked at Chae Yoo-jeong, whose cheeks were wet with tears, I could only laugh helplessly.   A cake box with all kinds of dirt on it fell on the floor and was kicked by my feet. The cake in the box must have been just as messed up as that. That looked exactly like me.   When I realized that, I felt a severe sense of helplessness. I gently removed my hand from Chae Yoo-jeong.   “...Let’s stop.”   I stepped back, pressing my sore eyes with my hands, and this time Chae Yoo-jeong caught me.   “Please no! D-don’t tell me to stop. I was wrong, I was wrong!”   “Let go.”   “Let me explain. I’ll explain everything, don’t go…!”   Chae Yoo-jeong’s hand holding the hem of my clothes was trembling. I mercilessly removed his ice-cold hand.   “Let’s... talk later. Nothing can happen in this state.”   “.......”   “Don’t grab me.”   Explanation or anything else, rational conversation itself was impossible right now. Chae Yoo-jeong, who noticed that I looked tired, shed tears again. Despite his appearance, I calmly turned away.   It was true, without a doubt, that Chae Yoo-jeong genuinely liked me. So, there must have been a reason for deceiving, and there must have been circumstances of its own. I knew that his plea for an explanation wasn’t just an excuse to avoid the situation.   But still... I was hurt too. With this mindset, I didn’t have the confidence to face him rationally. It felt like I was going to spit out some nonsensical accusation at any moment.   The happiness I felt just before meeting Chae Yoo-jeong melted like snow and disappeared without even leaving a trace.   --- Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor: Meimei Support on Kofi: Chapter 94, 95, 96 Chapter 97, 98, 99, 100 HM: nice…. 92.   “…….”   “…….”   Chae Yoo-jeong stared at me with a blank expression.   I thought he would blush and freak out or cry like before. The reaction was a lot more normal than I expected.   I didn’t show it, but I was really surprised on the inside. I kissed him because I was caught up in the atmosphere, but I didn’t feel too bad.   ‘No, rather……’   It was fairly good. It was surprising that I felt this way after just kissing him.   I’d like to try it one more time, but wouldn’t that be too much? I swallowed my regret and let go of his collar. Chae Yoo-jeong, who had been quietly looking at me until then, finally opened up.   “Skinship... didn’t you say no?”   …Was it so?   “After thinking about it, I don’t think skinship should be left out of the process of getting to know each other.”   Despite my shameless attitude, Chae Yoo-jeong still had no reaction. I felt a little embarrassed by that sight.   “Did you hate it? Then I apologize.”   “Huh? No, no, that’s not it….”   “…….”   “……”   An awkward silence came again.   ‘It’s ruined.’   It seems that the timing I felt earlier was just my own illusion.   A feeling of shame came to me later. I have never failed at skinship timing in my life.   “Anyway, thank you for taking me there. I’m going in now, so be careful.”   In times like this, the best thing to do is run away. As soon as I smiled and said bye, Chae Yoo-jeong grabbed my arm tightly.   “W-wait a minute. Hyung.”   “What is it?”   “I… I’m really sorry, I…”   Chae Yoo-jeong stuttered, half out of his mind, as if he was still dreaming.   “Can’t you just… try one more time?”   “What?”   “Just once more. Because it’s my first time. It went by too fast.”   Let’s do it one more time? Wasn’t it something you didn’t like?   Chae Yoo-jeong lowered the corners of his eyes and begged me, who was so embarrassed that I couldn’t answer.   “Hyung, can’t you? Just once. OK?”   “It’s okay once...”   As soon as I nodded my head, Chae Yoo-jeong rushed towards me as if he had been waiting for me.   The guy who pressed his lips to mine, grabbed my face with both hands. His hands, cold from his nervousness, were shaking.   Chae Yoo-jeong, who had been with me for about 5 seconds with just our lips touching, jumped away in a hurry, just like I did earlier. This time his face was all red.   “Whoa.”   Chae Yoo-jeong covered his mouth with his hand and let out an exclamation, his eyes shining like stars.   “Whoa!”   “Do you like it?”   “Yes!”   All I did was give him a kiss and he liked it like that. He seemed ready to dance if I kissed him later.   “Can we do it again next time?”   “Did you leave it to me?”   “No?”   “Don’t ask for permission to do things like that, just do it according to the mood.”    “Are we doing it again now?”   “Is it okay? Stop.”   When I saw Chae Yoo-jeong looking so excited as if he could fly into the sky at any moment, I started to get worried.   “Calm down. How can you drive like this when it’s snowing at night?”   “It’s okay because it’s not that far away.”   Still, Chae Yoo-jeong took a deep breath and calmed down as much as he could, as if he didn’t want to worry me, and called me.   “Hyung.”   “Huh?”   “Ever since a long time ago, good things have always happened when it snows.”   Chae Yoo-jeong, smiling brighter than ever, continued.   “Today, I am the happiest I’ve ever been.”   At those words, I couldn’t hold back any longer and smiled at him. I have never heard such a pure and direct confession.   “I’ll go. Can I send you a message when I arrive later?”   “Do whatever you feel like.”   “Yes!”   Chae Yoo-jeong, who had just stepped onto the snow-covered road and returned to his car, shouted brightly.   “I’ll contact you!”   “Be careful.”   Even after getting into the driver’s seat, he rolled down the window and waved his hand at me before leaving.   I watched the car until it got farther away, and I couldn’t see it, and then I turned around and headed home.   ***   From the moment I succeeded in kissing Chae Yoo-jeong, I accepted my feelings to some extent.   Let’s admit it. It may have been just curiosity at first, but now it was clear that I had developed romantic feelings for Chae Yoo-jeong.   ‘I can’t believe I’m in a relationship with a man.’   It was a situation that was unimaginable not long ago.   Still, I couldn’t help it. I couldn’t ignore Chae Yoo-jeong’s pretty appearance, his down-to-earth personality, or even his mind that was surprisingly only filled with me. How can I ignore him when I look straight at his eyes filled with sincerity?   But unfortunately, since the day I became aware of my feelings, Chae Yoo-jeong has become incredibly busy as the year has changed.   [Chae Yoo-jeong: I’m sorryㅠㅠ]   As if everything that happened was just a fantasy, Chae Yoo-jeong stayed in his dorm without any weekends and constantly repeated his practice through scrims and solo queue with his teammates.   Chae Yoo-jeong’s routine was usually like this. He wakes up at noon, eats breakfast and lunch, and starts a private scrimmage with another team.   Scrimmages are usually two or three times a day, and because they are conducted as closely as possible to regular matches, he spends about three hours each time.   We eat a late dinner in the middle of the scrimmage, and after the scrimmage, each person plays solo rank until 3 a.m. Chae Yoo-jeong said that since he took a year off, he would work until 5 o’clock to make up for his lack of practice.   The contacts also naturally decreased. Of course he can’t do it during scrimmages, and in ranked games the only break is the 5 minutes it takes to queue, so it’s hard to keep in touch.   I received replies regularly, up to 10 times a day, usually about 5 times. The good news is that I am relatively relaxed during my vacation, so I am able to receive calls late in the morning.   [Chae Yoo-jeong: Hyung hyung]   [Chae Yoo-jeong: You are coming to my house tomorrow, right?? 8ㅅ8]   [Chae Yoo-jeong: What time are you coming?]   [Yoo Ji-han: Around 3 o’clock?]   [Yoo Ji-han: I also had a part-time job interview, so I don’t know for sure]   [Yoo Ji-han: I will contact you after the interview tomorrow]   [Chae Yoo-jeong: Yes yes! (emoticon)]   Two weeks passed without seeing his face, and Chae Yu-jeong’s birthday was finally approaching.   January 15th. It was a day off that Chae Yoo-jeong, who had been working all day, had finally gotten.   As I was pondering what I wanted to give him as a birthday present, I remembered the logo on the cake box I received last Christmas.   I looked it up online and found that it was a dessert specialty store right in front of Chae Yoo-jeong’s house.   ‘I should at least buy a cake from here.’   Just in case, I called the store and made a cake reservation. I would be eating cake and playing with Chae Yoo-jeong, and when the mood was right, I would have planned to confess that I wanted to officially date him seriously.   When I thought of Chae Yoo-jeong, who would be happy to hear my answer, I couldn’t help but smile.   ***   The next day, I dressed up in a way that showed just the right amount of care and not too much and left the house in the morning so as not to be too late in meeting Chae Yoo-jeong.   The part-time job I was being interviewed for was at the bookstore where I worked last summer. I thought about how long I would have to wait because I heard that there were people who came first for the interview, but unexpectedly, the interviews of those who came ahead of me ended quickly, which shortened the time significantly.   “If Ji-han wants to work for us again, that would be great for us. You did a very neat job last time, so I can trust you.”   After receiving a reply from the bookstore owner, who informed me of my acceptance with a happy face, telling me to start working next week, I immediately took a taxi. I wanted to call in advance to ask if the cake was ready, but since I’m going to get it anyway, I put it off for now.   “It just worked out really well. The cake was just finished. You can take it right away.”   When I went to a dessert shop, a handsome man handed me a packed cake box.   “Thank you.”   Why am I so lucky today? I had an interview for a part-time job, and I received the food I had reserved right away, so was it a good day to do anything?   Holding the cake box in one hand and humming a tune, I headed to Chae Yoo-jeong’s apartment. Since it was less than 5 minutes away, I called Chae Yoo-jeong on the way. However, the phone call did not connect, and the song continued for a long time.   ‘Are you busy?’   Are you doing the cleaning just because I’m going there like last time? There’s something to clean in that house.   I thought nothing of it and tried to make another call, but I stopped when I saw a familiar person on the other side.   The person standing in front of the apartment’s front door was clearly Chae Yoo-jeong. There was a woman in front of him.   Surprisingly, she was a woman whose face I recognized. When I realized that, the corners of my mouth that had been naturally raised slowly stiffened. --- Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor: Meimei Support on Kofi: Chapter 93, 94, 95, 96 Chapter 97, 98, 99, 100 HM: me editing while listening to Ice breaker by nejishiki…. 105. “I’ve missed you. But now that I've seen you, what are you going to do?" “Do you really need to ask?” Hyeon-woo took a step forward. Instead of stepping back, Tiamat stepped forward, just like him. “I'm asking because I don't know.”  “You don’t? You seem to have a worse head than I thought.” "I've never been told that before."  Tiamat responded with a laugh. As the two walked towards each other, they quickly became close. Now, Hyeon-woo's expression was clearly visible. His laughter was laced with endless anger. Words didn't need to said any longer. Tiamat pulled out her long fingernails to stab Hyeon-woo, who moved at the same time. 'Don’t let your guard down.' The last time when the chain had tied him down, the two’s power were almost equal. Now that the chain was gone, she had to pursue attacks more carefully. Several attacks were exchanged in an instant, and Tiamat drew back with a heavy breath. Maybe it was because she was so nervous, but she was feeling exhausted after not fighting for a while. Then, a harsh voice from behind spat out curse words. Bacardi, who had lost consciousness for a moment, was awakened. “You were hit again.” Cracking his neck with a crunch, Bacardi bounced his body up. Then he began to bluntly raise his demonic energy. “I mean, I can’t live with losing.” “Oh my. Then shan’t live any longer." Hyeon-woo clicked his tongue as if feeling sorry for him. "Fuck, as if I’d let you get away with saying that!" Bacardi, caught up, raised his fists in anger. “I won’t lose this time.” “You don’t have any chains to use on me today?” “I don’t need that shit to win!” "Haha. If you don't have tools, you're just a weak human being, aren't you?" "Dog-shit!" Bacardi stepped up and rushed at Hyeon-woo. Meanwhile, Tiamat hid herself in Bacardi's shadow. Then, as before, she looked for an opportunity to attack Hyeon-woo. “It’s so boring to do the same thing.” Hyeon-woo brushed off his hand and hit Bacardi's fist from the front. "What am I to do if you don’t have the ability to learn after being hit?" Even though the relatively small fist struck, it hurt enough to make Bacardi’s body tremble. Even if he gritted his teeth and tried to attack, he wasn’t able to get in a single hit. As Bacardi was being beaten happily, Tiamat didn't seem much better either. 'It must be this time!'  Things were different from before. Now, Tiamat must not be found out by other humans. Therefore, she could neither return to her body nor exert any more power. "Die!" Even if she tried desperately, it was only a step in place. No, not standing still. When Bacardi, who played the role of a tanker, disappeared, she would have to deal with Hyeon-woo alone– Hyeon-woo, the person who frequently dueled with Alberg, one of the top demons in the Demon Realm! 'Libby!' Now, she had no choice but to buy time while waiting for Libby to return after he had been away for a while. "Ack!" First, Bacardi's leg was broken. He tried to attack even by crawling, but a wild boar that couldn't walk was useless. He broke his arm and lost the use of his limbs. Tiamat got her vaunted fingernails plucked raw. She tried desperately, enduring the pain, but her fingertips couldn't reach him. She was just being teased. “It’s still not enough.” "What!" “You know.” If she had known it would be like this, she would not have kidnapped Ji Seon-woo. How could she have even agreed to such a stupid idea. ‘It was in my stupidity, that it seemed right, when hanging out with Bacardi.’ “Kai, Kaii!” Tiamat called out to Kai. She knows that when the barrier was cast she couldn't move, but she still couldn't help calling her. “Ah, right. Kai. you were there too. You wait a little longer." Hyeon-woo smiled kindly and said. The blood spattered across his white skin looked toxic red. “What would you like to do next? Can you tell me? Tiamat.” "What do you know! Do whatever you want!" “Okay, then let’s start with the fingers.” She was afraid even though she thought she had suffered quite a bit. Because she knew what was coming at the end of it. "Hey. You don't intend to keep me alive, do you?" Hyeon-woo didn't answer anything, but he seemed to understand. 'I just need to hold on a little longer.'  Will she be able to hold out until Libby returns? She was Tiamat, who was called the mad dragon, but she didn't want to die. That was why she endured with more effort. When that one hand ended, the man she wanted so much returned. It was Libby. “Li-Libby.” Tiamat called Libby by name. “Ah, Oh my.” Libby looked down at Tiamat with a pitiful expression. "Help me." “Wait a minute, what is all this?” "Help me." “How many times do I have to tell you not to cause trouble?” “Help me!” As Tiamat raised her voice, Libby lifted his finger and brought it to his mouth. "Shh." Only then did Tiamat shut her mouth. “Was it Ji Hyeon-woo?” “So you’re Libby.” Hyeon-woo stood up while wiping the blood off his cheek. “Looks like you had a great time. But they are my comrades, so why not let them go?” “Comrades. So you're saying you're trash just like them?”  During the last fight, Hyeon-woo couldn't see Libby's face properly. So, in a way, it was like seeing him for the first time today. The smooth-looking man's face was like a statue, but looking at it gave him nausea. "I don't want to cause a fuss. Why don't you just let it go this time? We'll meet again someday anyway." “No, there won’t be a next time.” Hyeon-woo attacked Libby with those words. Libby brushed him away and backed away. Then he took off the coat he was wearing and laid it on the couch where he was rolling. “I heard rumors that you liked to fight with Alberg. Are you stronger than him? Or are you weak?" "Does it matter?" “Isn’t that important?” Libby lifted his body to avoid the sweeping legs on the floor. But that was just what Hyeon-woo did to attack him more comfortably. Immediately, a fist flew out of the air and hit Libby. “It could be meaningful information.” Libby blocked him with the palm of his hand, as though he was just a tingle. “Then just find it out for yourself, whether it’s a big deal.” “It doesn't work like that. I still have a mission to complete.” “What could that mission be?” “It’s important to me.” “Wouldn’t that be more important than life? Get out of the Demon Realm!" Hyeon-woo continued to attack Libby. It seemed that he was controlling his powers because he was inside Kai's barrier, but he could tell. This man was better at fighting than Tiamat. To say he was better at fighting than a dragon that has lived for over a thousand years. Was that even possible? If it was a demon, it was possible. Because they lived as long as dragons and loved battles. So it shouldn't be like this. At this level, he couldn't defeat the demon named Libby. "It's going to be a little annoying." Hyeon-woo looked at Libby with a nervous expression. “If you don't feel like it, you have the opportunity to end it quietly. It's not too late.” "It's too late." Kai's barrier began to shake as his strength and power grew and grew. “It’s dangerous.” Tiamat, who was leaning against the wall at Kai's words, asked. "What?" “I think it’ll be difficult to maintain the barrier any longer.” “You can survive as long as you don’t die anyway, right? Endure more." It was a voice that did not contain the slightest warmth. But there are things you can and cannot do. This was something he couldn't do. “Even if I endure, someone’ll find out. Returning to the main body will make it last longer.” "No. You’ll get caught if your big body is exposed." “But Tiamat.” Tiamat didn't want to listen to Kai any more. He served her because she wanted something, but at times like this, his heart ached. Why couldn't he be respected no matter anywhere he went? Kai swallowed the feeling welling in his throat and held on with all his might. “Hmm, I expected more because you were said to have fought Alberg, but you don't look as strong as I thought.” “I’m not using all my strength. Are you like that too?” "Is that so? So how about doing this? Kai!" "Yes." “Remove the barrier.” It was an unexpected order. "What are you talking about!" Tiamat also seemed perplexed by the order. “He can't hold the barrier any longer. If you go this way, you’ll be caught. If that's the case, it might be better to flaunt it and run away.” “I told you that if you make a mistake, the angels will catch you!” That was why the last battle with Alberg was passive. After all, with time, the world would be in their hands. He had no intention of dealing with Alberg seriously. Alberg seemed to know that and played with him moderately. “It will be alright in a little while.” “How can that be!” Tiamat tried to dissuade Libby, but to no avail. 104.   “No, I can’t just–”   He was the rival that beat Hyeon-woo. To be shaken by the words of such a person? Ga-jun clicked his tongue.   “Please.”   Do-jin looked at Ga-jun with unwavering eyes. That gaze was too direct and deep to resist.   “I hate losing my pride. Come to think of it, I heard you were talking to me the other day?”   “I decided to drop it, since you are not the same as when we first met.”   He should speak softly when he was the one asking. His fist tightened naturally, but he decided to hold it in for now. Ga-jun was also worried about Hyeon-woo.   “You’ll pay off this debt later.”   “As much as you want. Take this in case something happens.”   Do-jin handed over the walkie-talkie to Ga-jun.   “It’ll fare better than a cell phone.”   “Yeah, it looks sturdy.”   “Then, Alberg?”   “Must I guide you?”   “Aren’t you the only one who knows where he is right now?”   Do-jin urged Alberg, who was lying on the sofa. But he didn’t want to get up easily.   “You don’t trust Hyeon-woo?”   “I do. I believe in him, but I want to go just in case.”   “It doesn’t seem like a big deal to me.”   Alberg, who knew Hyeon-woo in the Demon Realm, remained unconcerned throughout. During their last scuffle, Hyeon-woo had been caught in a strange chain and had been unable to fight with his strength, but it seemed unlikely that such a thing would ever happen again.   And even if there was, he wasn’t someone who would fall for the same trick twice.   ‘This time, the other party has no hostages.’   It was a perfect environment for Hyeon-woo to rampage.   ‘Rampage.’   If Do-jin ran into a demon, who would discover he wasn’t the right one to deal with the situation. Although born a human, Hyeon-woo got along well with demons. So he must have survived all the dangers alone.   For that reason, Alberg had no intention of guiding Do-jin to Hyeon-woo.   “Alberg!”   “No matter how many times you say it, I know Alberg is my name.”    “Aren’t you worried about Hyeon-woo?”   “Unn. What are you worried about? Hyeon-woo is cool and strong. And since he was originally from this world, unlike me, he returned here with all his might. You think he might be in danger? Do you think that’s actually likely?”   Wrong. He could tell by looking into Alberg’s eyes. It seems like he couldn’t get along with this Demon.   “Alright. Then I’ll go find it alone.”   He put a shadow on Spotty just in case. The reason he wanted to take Alberg with him was for additional backup. It made him feel more at ease when he wasn’t by Seon-woo’s side.   “Go ahead.”   Alberg lay leisurely on the sofa and waved his hand. Do-jin glared at him and went out the door.   ***   Two-eyed was hiding in the bushes, watching a building in the distance. The building looked ordinary, but the people inside it were unusual. He had quickly confirmed at least one of the persons was Bacardi.   There was also a woman wearing a deep hood, followed by a man wearing a hat. Unlike Bacardi, it was not easy to verify their faces.   “Tiamat.”   But even without seeing it, it seemed to know. The woman wearing the hoodie was Tiamat. If so, the man following her must be Hydra.   ‘I don’t know why they came all the way here and locked themselves in the building. I have to watch until someone else comes.’   Maybe it was a little boring. Still, Two-eyed did not sleep and kept watch properly. While he was watching, another man went inside.   He didn’t know who he was either. Should he watch it a little closer? As he was thinking about it, the man came out and disappeared into the distance. It seemed that  he didn’t have to worry.   At that moment, my spine suddenly felt cold. Someone was approaching from behind. As soon as he felt it, Two-eyed jumped up on the spot.   Tuk.   The moment he turned around, a light hand tapped his back.   “Good job.”   When he heard a familiar voice, his tension subsided.   “How many people are there?”   “Three. Two men, one woman. A man also just went in a little while ago.”   “Do you see any faces?”   “Bacardi. And Tiamat. Hydra.”   “The other one?”   “I don’t know.”   Two-eyed shook his head.   “Well, it won’t matter.”   Hyeon-woo jumped and headed for the building. He had yet to show all his power, even as he had roamed around defeating monsters. He could have been in trouble if he was noticed by others. For now, he threw all restraint aside.   “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”   He had no intention of equalizing it to 1:1. Hyeon-woo opened the door and entered the building.   “What’s this? It tastes awful!”   Tiamat took a bite of the fries Kai had brought her and spat it out.   “What kind of potatoes are so thin? I can’t even taste it.”   Then she naturally peeled the hamburger skin.   “What delicious! You said it would be delicious!”   “Noisy! Just eat!”   “You’re noisy, wild boar!”   “When you’re just a fat lizard.”   Tiamat’s eyes darkened at Bacardi’s words. Fat lizard. They were words used long ago by other races to demean the great dragon. Even if they were just words, it undermined her power. Arrogant ingrates.   Tiamat gritted her teeth and tossed the hamburger onto Bacardi’s back. Of course, Bacardi calmly grabbed it and shoved it into his mouth.    “Yes, education is important for people who have gone without it. It is almost time to tame him.”   “Can you  tame me?”   “Do you think I would have put up with your arrogance if Libby hadn’t told me to be quiet?”   “What are you going to do if you can’t endure it? To fight against Libby’s orders?”   That was not going to happen. Even Tiamat, who ran amok without knowing what to say, had some trouble disobeying Libby’s words. In the end, Tiamat took back her nails.   “The more I look at him, the more I hate him. Kai!”   “Yes, Tiamat-nim.”   “Bring something to eat. Not this trash.”   “Very few places are open at this time.”   “I heard you’re opening a convenience store?”   “That’s true.”   Kai put on a puzzled expression. Would he be able to find food that satisfied her?   Kai put on a puzzled expression. It would not be easy to find food that would satisfy Tiamat at the convenience store. He didn’t know what he would do if he did something wrong, since she would probably just get angry.   “How will you be able to eat convenience store food when you can’t even eat hamburgers?”   “I can eat it. Why can’t you eat?”   “Shut up.”   “You shut up!”   The two continued to fight and pass the time. At this rate, they would defy Libby’s orders and fight. While Kaiman was in trouble, the two who were blaming each other stopped their actions. And at the same time, they looked at the first floor, where the door to the building was.   “Who’s coming?”   “Who else? A neighbor?”   “What the hell. You idiot. What kind of neighbor has this kind of aura?”   It was such a creepy vibe. Tiamat looked down nervously. The intruder seemed to have no intention of hiding his presence. She was slowly heading upward, making footsteps.   “Is it an enemy?”   Bacardi grinned as he pressed his fists together.   ‘That fool!’   An unknown depth of murderous aura had strangled Tiamat. But Bacardi didn’t seem to feel it at all. If he could feel it, he wouldn’t have done anything stupid like that.   Tiamat’s eyes rolled. The sound of footsteps stopped in front of the room on the second floor where they stood still.   “Libby?”   She called out a name she knew, but there was no answer.   Knock knock.   Someone knocked on the door.   “Oh my, it’s teasing me.”   Bacardi shook his fist as he approached the door. Considering his usual behavior, it seemed that he was intending to hit the intruder beyond the door.   “Don’t do it.”   Tiamat warned, but to no avail. Bacardi grinned and punched the door.   Bang!   A roar of fists sounded. With that much power, an ordinary human would have been crushed to death. As the wall collapsed, the dust that rose up obscured the view.   ‘If it was a normal human being.’   Tiamat involuntarily took a step back.   “I’ll close the barrier for now.”   Yeah, that was right. Libby told them to wait here without anyone finding out. But they didn’t know. They had to follow Libby’s words, but her instincts were sounding a warning.   ‘Let’s run away.’   Thud!   There was another roar, and Bacardi flew backwards. Had it not been for the barrier Kai had created, he might have penetrated through the wall as well. His large body collided with the barrier, causing it to tremble.   “Huh?”   The newly raised dust did not settle until after some time had passed. Tiamat was then able to see the intruder’s face.    “Hyeon-woo.”   “Hi.”   Hyeon-woo, wearing black gloves, closed his eyes and smiled.   “Nice to see you again, Tiamat.”   “Is it? I didn’t really want to see you again.”   “Too bad. I missed you.”   Creepy. She got goosebumps.   ‘I want to run away. I don’t like to run away.’   ‘I want to fight. I don’t want to fight.’   Conflicting emotions set her body on fire.   “Ahaha.”   Tiamat scratched her own cheek with her fingernails. The burning pain and the smell of blood seemed to calm her raging emotions.   Support on Kofi Chapter 105 Chapter 106, 107,108, 109, 110 ------ Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor/Proofreader: Davine, YaagRabRag YRR: LET’S GO!
