Hello~ I’m HoshiMiya, the translator of TGITG!! We have completed the translation of ‘That Guy is This Guy’!! Took almost 3 years I guess….. Ha…. I translated this novel as the author was writing IDWTR too. In general, this story is actually about a guy, who had been a fanboy of MC for years, due to his kindness, and how he ended up with MC after the countless misunderstandings and trials. If you were to put it in 1 line that is…. I did get attached to them after 2 years of translating this. 

It’s really sad to let this novel go…. And also I did hear from people, who read the +18, that it wasn’t enough(there were only like 2 chapters in the 10 chapters that had the scenes). So, we are gonna make it up to you by the addition of 10 chapters(+18 fanfic), where MC does (kinda) take revenge on YC, (mentally) that is topping YC and they sorta be a switch couple type later on. I do feel like it suits them better in my opinion. YC is so innocent no matter how I look at it unlike MC. Ghostx somehow managed to think that he was the bottom too….. I understand why(I’ve read the description in the novel so it provides the positions as well). Many readers thought so as well… I’ll never understand what goes in the mindset of a top or bottom, regardless of how many BLs I read. Wwwww. I wanted to do MC’s POV in the fanfic TwT, I will somehow do it…. I wonder why Author didn’t do MC’s pov in the rated scenes. idk.

Meimei editor and Ghostx will also be working on this, so thank you very much for joining us. so hopefully we’ll be able to convey the feelings properly of those two further. Drink some water will have some appearances with her boyfriend too…. I’m planning for that. Please consider the fanfic as a continuation of the novel.

Hello! I’m Ghostx. The novel translation for TGITG is finally finished! I originally started reading this novel like, 2 years ago and eventually applied to be a proofreader. So it leaves a small hole in my heart now that it’s done. As Hoshi Noona said, the novel basically revolves around a fanboy who somehow ends up with him. 

I don’t have a lot to say, this story has just been here for so long it feels weird finally letting it go. Well, in honor of finally finishing TGITG, Meimei-Noona, Hoshi-Noona, and I have all drawn something for it. I hope you guys enjoy it!

Hello, I’m the editor Meimei! As an editor, I felt I was a bit lacking since I’m not used to it (this is my first time editing for a translation), so thank you for putting up with me. Same with TL HoshiMiya and PR Ghostx as well, who were patient with my sporadic online times. I loved this novel very much that I asked to be an editor promptly (and without much thought) when HoshiMiya looked for one because I really wanted this amazing work translated and to reach more people. 

I felt that Yoo Ji-han(MC) and Chae Yoo-jeong(ML) were very 3D in that they’re struggling with the position they found themselves in and doing their best on how to proceed thereafter without hurting the other person further. I was happy with the side stories of their fluffy daily life and the sex, yes haha we’ll add a fanfiction for that. But please do note that it is not by the original author! It’s just a bit of creativity and our expression of love for this novel. 

Like TL HoshiMiya and PR Ghostx, I have also prepared fanart. It’s of Chae Yoo-jeong crying under a streetlight while snowing. That scene had so much impact on me that instead of drawing something lighthearted to commemorate the end of the novel, I had to draw that instead.

Hello, I’m Miry, the co-writer of the fanfiction inspired by this wonderful novel. From the moment I started reading, I was completely drawn in. The story is not only engaging—it’s beautifully written and emotionally resonant. Yoo Ji-han (MC) and Chae Yoo-jung (ML) are such a compelling and adorable couple. The plot is full of twists, but what struck me most was how they chose to resolve their issues—it felt both realistic and emotionally impactful. In my opinion, I think it was a good decision, so they can focus on themselves.

I’m not very skilled at drawing, so I’m sorry I couldn’t include any artwork. Hello, I’m FF or Fanatic Fan. I’m a rather new addition to the team and along with editing Side Story 3, I’m editing the current fanfic that the team has planned as well. I don’t have much to say, but I hope that I’ve made the side story and rated scenes somewhat enjoyable in comparison to the raw translations.

I always imagined Yoo Ji-han to be slightly buff since it was mentioned that he went to the gym, but I was pleasantly surprised to see Chae Yoo-jeong having broader shoulders than him, lol. I hope all of you continue to follow our journey in translating and editing webnovels for all of you to read.
