The seasons passed quickly, and the school uniform changed to a summer uniform. The children in the same class chattered noisily as they saw the white arms revealed under the short sleeves. Because of experiments or aftereffects, he often missed classes, and Kang Seok-woo made excuses by making up all sorts of illnesses. As a result, Hyeon Gyu-ha became a sickly pretty boy who was often hospitalized. A child from the other half asked him, who was humming a familiar trot song. Every time he went to the lab after school, he always said that he was going to the hospital. Not only had I never been to a PC room, I had never played a game. Compared to hunting demons in a dungeon, controlling the game felt bland. It didn't really interest me. As he approached the bus stop with the children surrounding him as usual, a loud, unpleasantly irritating alarm suddenly rang out. Hyeon Gyu-ha corrected it. For the average person, there wouldn't be much of a difference between a sudden gate and a dungeon break. When the children heard the siren, they panicked and ran to a nearby shelter as they had learned in school. Hyeon Gyu-ha also hesitated for a moment and then followed them. The hunters would arrive soon, and it wouldn’t be bad to maintain his life as a ‘sick ordinary person’. Even if he didn’t feel any meaning in that life. But the monsters were faster than the hunters. Kyaaa! As the cries of the demons began to be heard behind the building, the relatively orderly line of people evacuating suddenly collapsed. People screamed and ran in panic. One of the children in the class who was caught up in it fell down. The child who fell down couldn't get up and burst into frightened sobs. It wasn't just that child. The screams and cries of people falling, bumping into things, and getting hurt in the narrow alley were mixed together in a mess. Hyeon Gyu-ha scratched the back of his neck and walked towards the direction where the monsters were coming from. The child who fell over opened his mouth wide and cried out desperately, as if he had lost his mind due to panic. Hyeon Gyu-ha, who had become tired of walking against the crowd, simply lifted himself into the air. Hyeon Gyu-ha, who had flown into the sky, stretched out both arms to the demons. The group of monsters that had been rushing forward while making a new sound froze. Hyeon Gyu-ha threw them onto a wide, deserted road. Boom! Kiaaa! Kookung! Kwaaaa! The cries of the monsters and the sound of them being thrown onto the road were mixed together. The monsters, piled up in a tower three stories high, could not escape and could only scream. Hyeon Gyu-ha was worried. 'If I blow it up here and kill him, blood and flesh will probably splatter on me too.' The detailed control to break a neck, the control to adjust abilities from a long distance, and the control to surround the entire body with a force field and kill the monsters at the same time are all still immature. Not wanting to get his new summer uniform dirty with blood, he decided to just hold on until the other hunters arrived. 'I guess I should buy clothes that are waterproof.' The waiting time wasn't that long. As he wondered where the voice came from, a small woman kicked off a telephone pole and the wall of a building and jumped high into the air. She clenched her fists as she jumped as if she could touch the sky. A fist strike struck the center of the piled-up monsters like a comet. The road, which had received a heavy impact, shook like an earthquake for a moment, and the scream of the dying monsters rose high along with a fountain of blood. Hyeon Gyu-ha quickly escaped the blood and watched the martial artist beat the remaining monsters with his bare hands. As he watched, he remembered a name he had seen on the internet. Was it Lee Hye-yeon, the civil service hunter? Hunters who had cleared out the monsters in other areas arrived one after another, and the remaining monsters were soon cleared out. There are still hunters who fight with their mouths. By the way, am I crazy enough to call someone who looks similar to my age 'Papa'? Lee Hye-yeon, covered in the demons' bodily fluids from head to toe, trembled. Lee Hye-yeon, muttering to herself, tore the scroll. Water poured down like a bucket tilted over her head, washing her body. Then, white flames snaked around her body, drying the moisture. There were still traces of bodily fluids, but it was much better than before. If it was Gong Tae-seong, he would be the young guild leader of the Uranus Guild . Hyeon Gyu-ha's gaze turned to the tall, handsome man with a sharp look. I think he had planned to solo clear the dungeon before the end of the year. If he were to be promoted to S-rank without a hitch, he would break the youngest record. Hyeon Gyu-ha tilted his head. When I saw him fight in person, I thought I was stronger. Anyway, that wasn't what was important right now. The hunter who was using poison grumbled. <……> Lee Hye-yeon, who had been patting Gong Tae-seong on the back to cheer him up, was delighted to see Hyeon Gyu-ha approaching. At the mention of being a middle school freshman, not only Lee Hye-yeon but also the hunters around her couldn't hide their surprise. <……Ah! That erosion gate? Wow, that baby has already grown this much.> They were reminded of Hyeon Gyu-ha, who had conquered the erosion gate at the age of 9, and whether they were impressed or not, Hyeon Gyu-ha extended his hand. Hyeon Gyu-ha nodded roughly. Kang Seokwoo could act as his agent, just like he would receive the settlement from the Seokho Guild. He gave him his phone number, and Gong Tae-seong, who was standing silently next to him, handed him his business card. He put the business cards he received from the two people into his pants pocket and turned his back without any regrets. The boy from the class who had fallen was still sitting there, blankly looking up at him. He lightly helped him up with Psychokinesis, and called out to him in a voice that sounded like he was talking to a completely unfamiliar person. <……Gyu-ha- ya ?> Hyeon Gyu-ha didn't know whether that hello was a greeting or a farewell. He just said a word and then floated into the air. From tomorrow, my life as a sickly pretty boy will end. It wasn't particularly disappointing. The house he returned home to was empty. [I'll be at the lab until tomorrow, so don't wait up and go to sleep first. And lock the door well.] He read the text message from Kang Seok-woo, who seemed to be talking to an ordinary boy, with a sly smile. He was about to throw the business cards in the trash, but then he changed his mind. It was because he remembered Kang Seok-woo's advice to him, who didn't get along well with the other kids in his class, to cherish even the smallest connections. Hyeon Gyu-ha, who put his business card in his pants pocket, reminisced about the battle of Gong Tae-seong that he witnessed today. 'No matter how much I think about it, I feel like I'm stronger.......' Gong Tae-seong said that he might soon become an S-class. Then, wouldn’t it be possible for me too? Hyeon Gyu-ha jumped up from the air. It's nothing, just try it. If it doesn't work, then don't worry about it. If the promotion is confirmed, I will be the first to tell Kang Seok-woo the good news. And I will call him. Dad. ------ Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor/Proofreader: If you wanna become a translator, editor or proofreader, please use the discord link given below and follow the instructions in the recruit channel. He didn't need any special preparation to clear the dungeon. He ordered dinner as usual and took a quick nap. In order to be promoted to S-rank, you must clear a large or larger dungeon alone after it has been reset. I happened to know of a large dungeon owned by the Seokho Guild that would be reset that evening. 'I can pay for the loss of clearing the dungeon early later.' The promotion process should be attended by the Hunter of the Department of Supernatural and other related officials, but Hyeon Gyu-ha only brought a camcorder to record the cleared video. I was going to present this as evidence for now, and if it didn’t work out, I was going to go through the official process and clear another dungeon. If I did it once, I couldn’t do it twice. All preparations were completed by checking the recorded footage by floating the camcorder in the air. Hyeon Gyu-ha left the house dressed lightly as if he were going to school or visiting the lab. If I am in a dungeon and die due to a reset because I missed the timing, they won't even be able to find my body. That's why hunters tend to rest before and after the reset. Plus, since the reset happens late, there won't be anyone coming in until tomorrow. The guild members guarding the open gate at the back of the commercial building yawned boredly. While listening to their chatter, he secretly sent a scroll filled with mana into the air and tore it off their heads. The guild members, who seemed to be resisting the sudden drowsiness, soon fell fast asleep. Hyeon Gyu-ha lightly jumped over the guild members and jumped into the gate. [Time left until dungeon reset: 122 hours 19 minutes 07 seconds] The reset time varies from dungeon to dungeon, and this dungeon has a roughly 5-day cycle. It was a dungeon that Hyeon Gyu-ha had also entered several times to hunt. It was also a dungeon that Kang-seok-woo, who had learned of his vampire attributes, had actively recommended. The dungeon's scenery was that of a small old Eastern European town. The time was a dark night without even moonlight. The illusion was rippling. A vampire who lived in an old watermill by the river flowing through a narrow and deep ravine secretly killed people who came to grind grain and sucked their blood. The villagers were so scared that they killed innocent people, accusing them of being vampires. They dug up the graves, hung wild roses and hawthorn branches, and sowed mustard seeds, but the vampire could not be driven out. People were dying. The townspeople raised money to invite vampire hunters. Dhampirs, half-vampires and human beings, and Kresnik, who shared the same fate as Dhampirs for generations and learned magic from the god of the same name to transform into white animals, visited the town. They were usually born as unrelated people, but in this setting, they seemed to be half-sisters. As he looked at them, a thought occurred to me. 'Dhampir and Kresnik…….' In this iron age where mystery does not exist, there are no vampires. Dhampir and Kresnik were also not born. Even if they were born, it would be none of their business. Hyeon Gyu-ha roughly erased the thought that suddenly came to his mind. Then the monsters appeared. After checking that the camcorder was working properly, they stretched out both arms forward. Hyeon Gyu-ha felt a little regretful. 'I should have prepared waterproof clothes before fighting.' He took off my clothes that had lost their original color due to the blood and bodily fluids of the monster. Then he went into the stream. It was late autumn inside the dungeon, and the river flowing deep in the mountains was extremely cold. If I hadn’t been in the body of an A-class hunter, my bones would have been chilled. 'No. Now it's S-class.' Hyeon Gyu-ha looked at the corpse of the boss monster lying next to the corpses of the monsters piled up like a hill. As expected, the boss monster was the vampire Saba Saba Nović. It is unknown which parallel world the dungeon's setting, Jaroje, is in, but Jaroje I know is a small town with a current population of only a few hundred people. It was no match for the vampires that hid in such small villages and hunted people. Even though it was large, the entire mountain range connected to it was part of the dungeon area. Moreover, if the enemy was a vampire, it was absolutely advantageous in terms of compatibility. 'Thanks to that, I was able to catch it easier than I thought……. Well, I think I can clear the other dungeons solo, even if it takes more time.' Rather, I became more confident. Hyeon Gyu-ha, who had washed the blood from his hair clean, applied medicine to the wounds all over his body and attached a hemostatic patch. Even if the injury was so severe that the bone was visible, he just frowned and wrapped a bandage. In such cases, it was convenient to have a psychokinesis. He could even treat wounds on the back that were out of reach. 'It would be convenient if there was a potion that could heal wounds just by drinking or spraying it, like the potions in the game.' I just left the crystal stone alone. Since I raided the dungeon without permission, I thought I should give the crystal stone to the Seokho Guild as compensation. Hyeon Gyu-ha, who was humming a trot song and taking out new clothes to change into, clenched and unclenched his fists. It was proven that he was S-class, but nothing had changed. He was still Hyeon Gyu-ha, looking for his mother, and living with Kang Seok-woo. I didn't feel any excitement or heart-fluttering. But I still felt somewhat happy because I knew someone who would be happy as if it were my own business. Thinking of that person who would be happy made me a little happy and proud that I had become an S-class. And I would be happier with the words I called him than with my becoming an S-class. Hyeon Gyu-ha practiced with his lips pursed. 'Dad.' He felt very happy. When he came out of the gate, the eastern sky was already brightening. He passed by the hunters who had fallen asleep. He yawned deeply. He was extremely sleepy and tired. Although he had somewhat healed, the wounds that were slowly seeping blood were still stinging. His body, exhausted from fatigue, was screaming for him to rest right away, but Hyeon Gyu-ha lifted his body into the sky. He didn’t want to waste time going to the lab by bus. He wanted to tell Kang Seok-woo this good news right away and call him “dad.” Unlike me, Kang Seok-woo is very emotional. Maybe an old man of that age would cry. Then I have to tease him. I laughed. Those days at the training center were also a process to meet Kang Seok-woo, no, my father, so I think it was bearable. The laboratory, bathed in the dawn light, was quietly settled. The security guard greeted him warmly. Hyeon Gyu-ha just smiled and flew towards Kang Seok-woo’s lab on the 5th floor. The air was quite cool in the early morning, so the lab’s windows were wide open. As he got closer to the window, he could hear people talking. He was about to stick my face out to say hello, but he noticed he was on the phone and hid himself against the wall. Judging from the time he was on the phone, it seemed like an important business call. I shouldn't interrupt him. In addition to Kang Seok-woo, there were three other researchers in the lab. They were all part of Kang Seok-woo’s direct team and knew about his vampire attributes. Hyeon Gyu-ha’s attributes were being studied in secret, so no one except the six members of his direct team shared it with him. ......That's what I thought. Until I heard the contents of the phone call. A researcher cautiously asked Kang Seok-woo, who had just hung up the phone. Kang Seok-woo's face, shouting excitedly, was redder than ever. Kang Seok-woo's eyes sparkled with a madness he had never seen before, as his face turned a deep red with excitement. The researcher's face suddenly turned white as he was mixing in conversation. He stammered as if he had seen a ghost and tried to force a smile. ------ Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor/Proofreader: If you wanna become a translator, editor or proofreader, please use the discord link given below and follow the instructions in the recruit channel. 5. They left the theme park with a hint of regret lingering in their hearts, but a promise passed between them with quiet certainty: We’ll come back again. Yoo Ji-han drove calmly down the evening-lit roads. The city lights were just beginning to glow in the distance as the night sky dawned over the atmospheric layers. Chae Yoo-jeong sat beside him, glancing sideways with a sparkle in his eyes. The excitement of their 1st year anniversary hasn't faded away although the day is almost over soon. “I wanted to say this earlier, but I was too surprised… I didn’t know you could drive.” Chae Yoo-jeong spoke as he gazed at Yoo Ji-han with sparkles in his eyes. Yoo Ji-han chuckled lightly, eyes fixed on the road. “Well, I used to drive trucks, so I had to get a license. It just kind of stuck with me. Though… It's been a while. I hope I don’t scratch your car by accident.” He laughed nervously, then coughed, blushing faintly. “You drive perfectly, Hyung!” Chae Yoo-jeong said with a big smile. Yoo Ji-han smiled, shaking his head in amusement. “You always say I do everything perfectly, Yoo-jeong-ah.” “Because you do everything perfectly, Hyung!” Yoo Ji-han glanced at him for a moment, catching the playful pout forming on his lips. His expression softened. Without taking his eyes off the road, he gently reached over, took Chae Yoo-jeong’s hand, and pressed a soft kiss to the back of it. Chae Yoo-jeong flinched at the sudden gesture, his cheeks flushing a deep red—but he didn’t pull away. “And you.” Yoo Ji-han murmured with a faint smile. “…are perfect too.” ‘…Especially for me.’ They drove to a traditional Korean restaurant, where Yoo Ji-han had reserved a private room in advance. The warm lighting and soft clink of dishes in the background made the room feel comfortably intimate. “Well……” Yoo Ji-han said as he sat down, pulling out his phone and placing it gently on the table. “While we’re waiting… want to look at my photo album?” Chae Yoo-jeong’s eyes lit up instantly, a smile blooming across his face. “Really?” Yoo Ji-han nodded and handed over the phone, already opened to his older photo albums. He had thought about taking Chae Yoo-jeong to visit their elementary school—but he knew that it might bring back painful memories. Chae Yoo-jeong scrolled through the photos, as his fingers were brushing the screen like it was something precious. His eyes sparkled with nostalgia, and gradually, tears began to form. Yoo Ji-han noticed the way his expression trembled, and without saying a word, reached out and rested a hand gently over Chae Yoo-jeong’s. When Chae Yoo-jeong looked up, Yoo Ji-han met his gaze with a warm, reassuring smile. Chae Yoo-jeong smiled back, the tears turning into a soft laugh as he began pointing at pictures and talking excitedly. Dinner arrived soon after, and they set the phone aside to enjoy the delicious spread. Between bites, they chatted about college life. The room filled with easy laughter and the occasional clinking of chopsticks. When they finished eating half of the food, Chae Yoo-jeong eagerly picked up the phone again. “I’m going to print one of these and keep it in my wallet.” Chae Yoo-jeong said with a mischievous smile, pointing at a particular photo. “Is that okay, Hyung?” The picture he showed was of Yoo Ji-han during high school—leaning casually against the open window of a classroom, hair tousled perfectly by the breeze, sunlight brushing his features. His smile in the photo was easy and warm, almost cinematic. Chae Yoo-jeong’s eyes sparkled with admiration, as if there was a heart practically visible in his eyes. Yoo Ji-han raised an eyebrow, feigning jealousy. “Are you falling for the me in the photo more than the me sitting right here?” Yoo Ji-han was slightly pouting with his hands crossed, with his eyes in another direction away from it. “Why would you need a photo when you already have me by yourself?” Chae Yoo-jeong laughed, holding the phone closer to his chest. “Can’t I have both?” Rolling her eyes backwards, Yoo Ji-han chuckled and leaned back. It felt like his heart was quietly full. “You can have all of me, Yoo-jung-ah. Then and now.” “Then……. What about this picture we took together today? It came out great.” He turned the phone screen toward Yoo Ji-han. A picture of them kissing, while Yoo Ji-han is holding an ice cream mid-bite, his eyes closed, cheeks slightly pink, and Chae Yoo-jeong smiling into the kiss. Yoo Ji-han’s eyes widened. ‘A picture of us kissing……. while I was holding an ice cream!!’ Yoo Ji-han snatched his phone back from Chae Yoo-jeong’s side, staring at the photo intently. “When did you take a picture like this…….?” ‘Damn it. He looks too cute to be real…… I am printing this out and putting it in my wallet. Without question!’ While he was distracted, Chae Yoo-jeong picked up a piece of food with his chopsticks and popped it into Yoo Ji-han’s slightly open mouth. “This is so good.” Yoo Ji-han murmured with a soft smile on his face. Chae Yoo-jeong stopped for a second, watching his dear hyung with fond eyes before chuckling lightly. “Yes, Hyung….very good.” He gently set the phone down on the table and began eating as well. Outside the window, the sky was already darkening, soft hues of dusk melting into deeper shades of night. They didn’t order any drinks. Yoo Ji-han knew that Chae Yoo-jeong was a lightweight, and neither of them wanted to blur the edges of such a special evening. This night wasn’t meant for hazy memories, it was meant to be remembered clearly, every smile, every word, every touch, every feeling. After they finished eating, Yoo Ji-han stood up from the table. Chae Yoo-jeong followed a moment later, rising quietly. Yoo Ji-han looked at him briefly, then reached out and gently took his hand, leading him toward the door without a word. Chae Yoo-jeong blinked in surprise because they didn’t pay the bill yet but followed in silence. He looked back and saw the staff, who bowed slightly with understanding and warm smiles, as the door opened. ‘Do they know Hyung? I will ask Hyung later……’ They stepped out into the night, the cool air brushing against their skin as they left the restaurant. The sound of the door shutting behind them seemed to seal the moment like the final page of a chapter. As they walked under the soft glow of a lamplight, Chae Yoo-jeong suddenly tugged on Yoo Ji-han’s hand, pulling him into a quiet, steady hug. The dim light cast gentle shadows on their figures as Yoo Ji-han's eyes widened, his entire body freezing just for a second, before slowly relaxing, his arms wrapping around Chae Yoo-jeong in return. He closed his eyes, blinking slowly. He slipped his tongue into his mouth, while exchanging the small warmth across their whole bodies. After being swallowed by the breath-taking kiss, they drifted from each other and dreamy stared into each other’s eyes. ‘I hope we’ll be together for many years from now……’ They stood like that for a moment, as the world around them felt quiet. Then, they began walking home hand in hand, as if they were the only two people in the world. *** Yoo Ji-han opened the door, stepping inside with Chae Yoo-jeong right beside him, both carrying bags filled with things they had bought or won. After quietly closing the door behind them, Yoo Ji-han glanced instinctively at the clock, then flicked on the lights and shrugged off his jacket. The apartment was just as they had left it—still, calm, and warmly familiar. Chae Yoo-jeong headed into the kitchen to put their things away while Yoo Ji-han dropped onto the couch, letting the soft cushions cradle his body. He leaned back, with his gaze drifting to the ceiling, and thoughts of the day playing behind his closed eyes. ‘Ugh……. So tired.’ A quiet smile spread across his face when he felt something warm wrapped gently around his neck. “Hyung, are you tired?” Chae Yoo-jeong’s soft voice came from the left. Yoo Ji-han didn’t open his eyes—he simply shook his head with a small, contented smile. Leaning towards him closer, Chae Yoo-jeong’s lips brushing lightly against Yoo Ji-han’s ear. A playful nip made Yoo Ji-han flinch, eyes snapping open in surprise. “Do you want to go take a bath first or should I…?” Chae Yoo-jeong whispered. His voice seemed like he was teasing him but somehow low and smooth suitable to the night surroundings and vibes. Yoo Ji-han’s face flushed instantly, with his burning red ears. He tried to sit up straight, flustered, however Chae Yoo-jeong moved quickly, now facing him, eyes glinting with mischief. In one fluid motion, he tugged Yoo Ji-han’s legs around his waist, catching him off guard. Yoo Ji-han nearly lost balance but instinctively held on, steadying them both. “You really hold me up really well……?” Chae Yoo-jeong murmured with a grin. His hands rested lightly on Yoo Ji-han’s waist for support. ‘Will he even be able to carry me like this? Although he’s tired…….’ While he thought that, Yoo Ji-han blinked at him, stunned and breathless, somewhere between embarrassment and laughter. He lightly flicked on Chae Yoo-jeong’s forehead. “You’re going to give me a heart attack, you know that?” Chae Yoo-jung chuckled, leaning his forehead gently against Yoo Ji-han’s. “Then I’ll take responsibility.” Yoo Ji-han rolled his eyes, though the smile tugging at the corner of his lips betrayed his amusement. He asked, voice thick with sarcasm. “What responsibility would you take?... Put me down, Chae Yoo-jeong.” Chae Yoo-jeong laughed softly but obeyed, carefully setting Yoo Ji-han back down on the sofa. Yoo Ji-han let out a long sigh, shaking his head as he stretched out with a groan. “I need a moment to rest……” He said, tilting his head back against the cushions. “So go and shower.” Chae Yoo-jeong replied with a playful tone. “Okay……. Then I’ll shower quickly, so make sure you do too.” As he turned to leave, Yoo Ji-han reached out and patted him affectionately on the head. His fingers ruffled through the soft, golden strands of Chae Yoo-jeong’s hair. With that, he disappeared into the bathroom beside the living room. The soft click of the door closing echoed through the quiet apartment. Yoo Ji-han exhaled, letting his eyes close for a moment. The calmness of the evening settled into his chest like a warm blanket. He allowed himself to smile—just a little—as he waited for the sound of running water to begin. Then he got up and went to the other bathroom, that is in the guest room. After Yoo Ji-han finished showering, he returned to the bedroom, surprised to see that Chae Yoo-jeong was still in the bathroom. He let out a small sigh and lay down on the bed, wearing only a black robe loosely draped over his body. The day’s warmth and emotional weight began to catch up with him, and he felt his eyes grow heavy with drowsiness. Just as he closed them for what felt like only a moment, a strange tingling sensation around his lower back startled him awake. His eyes opened quickly, narrowing slightly as he registered what was happening. “This little brat……” He muttered under his breath, half-annoyed, half-amused. He saw Chae Yoo-jeong who was naked spreading his legs widely as he was licking his tight hole to lubricate it. Yoo Ji-han took Chae Yoo-jeong’s face from this awkward position by grabbing his hair. His hole slightly twitched from the missing warmth of his tongue. “That’s not gonna be enough……” Yoo Ji-han’s lower body twitched, his face flushed a deep red. Chae Yoo-jeong smiled gently. “I thought you’d prepared something like this—” Before he could finish, Yoo Ji-han gently pushed him back and reached into the drawer behind the bed, pulling out a set of dog ears, a matching tail, and a bottle of lube. “I wouldn’t want to miss the chance to make this moment a little more special.” Yoo Ji-han said with a sweet but a bit scary smirk as he looked down at Chae Yoo-jeong that seemed to tell that he was planning to bring his everything to the job. Yoo Ji-han took some lube into his hand and poured some onto the tail’s insertion part. Insertion part was a medium size with bumps and 5 circular bobs attached. Yoo Ji-han carefully reached below Chae Yoo-jeong’s dick and circled and slided down the area before pushing his fingers into it and stretching inside. Chae Yoo-jeong trembled slightly from the discomfort and reflexively tried to get up, but Yoo Ji-han pushed him down, keeping his hands just out of reach. Although Chae Yoo-jeong usually led a more physical lifestyle, having plenty of free time this year to work out while Yoo Ji-han was often away—he still seemed physically overwhelmed by Yoo Ji-han at this moment. His eyes reflexively closed due to the sense of unfamiliarity entering his lower body as the nails of his fingers scraped inside. “Shh…… Everything will be fine.” Yoo Ji-han said in a warm voice, gently petting Chae Yoo-jeong’s hair with his free hand. He slid his fingers deeper, adding two more and more amounts of lube to stretch it out more. The way Chae Yoo-jeong swayed before him and made soft noises stirred a mix of guilt and sadistic thrill within him. Chae Yoo-jeong’s trembling gradually subsided as he grew more accustomed to the sensation. Yoo Ji-han licked his lips with excitement. “I’ve always wanted to try something like this…….” After kissing his cheek and whispering, Yoo Ji-han placed the dog ears on Chae Yoo-jeong’s hair. Chae Yoo-jeong wasn’t able to fully feel the pleasure, as he had never bottomed before. His reactions weren’t much, other than his eyes, which were full of curiosity as to whatever his Hyung was planning. His tight hole was stretched out repeatedly to ensure that he wouldn’t feel any discomfort in the process. ‘I only feel like something unfamiliar going up and down……’ Chae Yoo-jeong’s eyes blinked with uncertainty, as if unsure whether he would enjoy this. Yoo Ji-han only chuckled at the sight before him. “You really look like a golden retriever. I think the spot for the tail is ready now.” A metal chain, which contains small spherical balls, about 5 of them, each around 4 cm diameter and the tip base of a cone, was dipped in cold gel. Yoo Ji-han placed them one by one. At first, one ball slipped from the hole, due to how stretched it was, so he placed 3 balls consequently and pushed it inwards to create more space before placing the rest 2 balls. The balls smoothly moved over the prostate, although Chae Yoo-jeong couldn’t feel much. While Chae Yoo-jeong showed only slight discomfort, unsure whether he would feel anything or not, his entrance felt like it was being squeezed and filled up. He thought at first it would be nice to be filled up like this so he could adjust more. “It’s cold.” “I thought the extra cold gel would help you enjoy the sensation better. So, I bought it.” After mustering a little courage, Chae Yoo-jeong looked and his eyes widened. Then, flustered, he said. He felt as if something was nearly touching his stomach. “Is… isn’t it…a bit… too long?” Yoo Ji-han carefully inserted each ball one by one until none were left outside. The five balls filled up the tight space in the hole, leaving no room for the tip. After making some space inside, he grinded the tip in a circular motion gently with some gel dripped onto the gel. Sealing the warm hole, the tail fitted perfectly into the right position and wiggled as Chae Yoo-jeong’s hips shifted, which created an illusion as if he actually had a golden tail on him. Yoo Ji-han can’t tell me if he was doing this on purpose or not, but it was so cute either way. Suddenly, all the balls aligned perfectly inside, as if magnetized. Some sorta chills ran through his spine as if something had started to itch and scratch near his prostate. The pleasure was enough to naturally arch his back, which only brought more, as the sensation started to increase slowly after. His hips rubbed onto the sheets as the entrance itched in pleasure to be touched and arose with it. The sensation was as if all the nerve cells had rushed to the edges of the prostate. Chae Yoo-jeong moaned spontaneously, as his waist swayed. His eyes snapped shut instantly. Realizing it right away, he opened them wide and quickly covered his mouth and tried to cover his legs, although it was impossible. “Ngh!! U….Ugh. Ngh……” ‘That felt too loud…… How embarrassing.’ Yoo Ji-han felt a shiver of excitement ripple through his body at the sound. He smirked. His cold dark eyes shook with delight at the sight of him wiggling under him. “What a cute puppy you are.” — MR: I totally understand you, Yoo Ji-han. HM: WAAAAH! You’re amazing TwT co-writer Miry. 4. After eating lunch together, they casually talked, while enjoying the view of the sea and shimmering waves. In the meanwhile, they also decided to rest a bit, as they drank some fresh watermelon juice and desserts till 2 pm. It’s after that, Yoo Ji-han’s plans finally began. ‘Our first anniversary was meant to be a surprise— for both of us.’ Yoo Ji-han wanted something truly special, so he spent hours thinking about where they should go. After searching online for the best places to take your lover on a first anniversary, he finally decided on Lotte World in Seoul. He thought it was the perfect choice, especially after reading countless comments praising it as one of the top date spots. The moment he saw it, he immediately daydreamed of his lover, who couldn’t help but smile into his eyes, as if teasing him and wanting to cuddle at the same time. ‘I think Yoo-jeong will really like this place.’ He smiled to himself, thinking of his playful, childlike partner. But the memory of that day faded quickly when Yoo Ji-han checked the time— it was time to go. He glanced at Chae Yoo-jeong, who was watching him with curious eyes. Yoo Ji-han simply smiled, as he took Chae Yoo-jeong’s right hand, and started walking toward the car. When they reached it, he gestured towards the passenger seat. “You are going to sit there for now.” He giggled when he saw Chae Yoo-jeong's confused face. Letting go of his hand, Yoo Ji-han opened the passenger door and gave a little nod. Still puzzled, Chae Yoo-jeong climbed in. As he fastened his seatbelt, Yoo Ji-han walked around and slid into the driver’s seat. Yoo Ji-han glanced at Chae Yoo-jeong, who had a wide smile lighting up his face. Chae Yoo-jeong raised an eyebrow, curiosity clearly written all over his expression. “Can you open the glove compartment and take out the little brown box in there?” “Okay, Hyung.” Yoo-jeong opened the glove compartment and pulled out a slim brown box that looked like it might hold a pen. A flicker of surprise crossed his eyes. “Open it. It’s for you.” Ji-han said. “For me?” Yoo-jeong opened the box and blinked in surprise. “A blindfold?” “Yeah. Put it on. I want the destination to be a complete surprise.” Without hesitation, Chae Yoo-jeong slipped the blindfold over his eyes, and a small smile playing on his lips. “I can’t wait to see where you’ve decided to take me, Hyung. But... I’m feeling a little overwhelmed, so……” Yoo Ji-han reached over, gently took Yoo-jeong’s hand, and placed it on his leg. Yoo-jeong blushed, falling silent at the touch. “Let’s go.” Ji-han said softly. Upon reaching the place and entering the parking lot, Yoo Ji-han parked the car and he turned to look at Chae Yoo-jeong. “Wait here for a moment.” He leaned over and pressed a kiss to Yoo-jeong’s cheek, then quickly stepped out of the car, shutting the door behind him in a hurry. Chae Yoo-jeong sat patiently, wondering where they had arrived. The minutes felt unusually long—as if time had slowed just for him. His ears were concentrated on a crowd of noises, mostly made up of laughter and cheers, that seemed like it’s from kids. He can already guess where the place was, without having to ask Ji-han. Then, finally, he heard the passenger door open. He turned toward the sound and looked at where Hyung's face should be. “Hyung?” “Let’s go.” Chae Yoo-jeong heard Ji-han’s gentle reply. Yoo Ji-han helped him out of the car, and together they began to walk. “Hyung……” “I just needed to check if everything was ready... if all my arrangements were in place.” ‘That also means that my heart is also ready.’ Yoo Ji-han replied. His voice was warm but slightly nervous. Chae Yoo-jeong stayed quiet, trusting Yoo Ji-han completely to lead him wherever he intended. After a few quiet moments, Yoo Ji-han let go of his hand and moved behind him. “Are you ready, my dear puppy?” Ji-han whispered happily with a slight hint of excitement. Chae Yoo-jeong nodded with a small smile. He opened his eyes as soon as he sensed the blindfold was gone. His eyes grew wide with surprise when he realized where they were. Excitedly, he looked at Yoo Ji-han. “Do you… like my surprise?” Yoo Ji-han asked nervously. Without hesitation, Chae Yoo-jeong pulled him into a tight hug. “Just like? I love it! I’ve always wished to come here with you, Hyung.” Although Yoo Ji-han almost choked from the tight hug, he smiled, looking up at Yoo-jeong’s happy face. He sighed inwardly. ‘I was so nervous.’ “I’m glad you love it. Then… shall we start exploring?” Chae Yoo-jeong nodded eagerly. They began to walk around, taking in the sights. After a while, Yoo Ji-han’s eyes caught something interesting. He rushed toward a nearby photo booth area, pulling Yoo-jeong along. Grabbing a hanger full of school uniform sets, Yoo Ji-han held them up one by one against Chae Yoo-jeong’s chest, gauging which suited him best. He turned toward the mirror, focused and thoughtful, while Yoo-jeong watched him in surprise. “I remember seeing you in a uniform back then……” Yoo Ji-han said comfortably as he draped another set over Yoo-jeong. Chae Yoo-jeong’s ears drooped, and he let out a soft whimper. “You sure you even remember me back then?” He asked bitterly, though with a shy smile. “I might have… remembered a little.” Yoo Ji-han replied thoughtfully. “It might not have been significant to me at the time, but I know it was to you. So, I tried my best to recall some things. Besides, I’ve always wanted to see you in a school uniform. You must have been pretty popular in high school.” “Yeah, I was. Especially during the last two years of high school……” ‘That was when my growth spurt happened so fast, and I wanted to become a better person for Yoo Ji-han. Even though I was admired by many, I didn’t have a single person I could truly call a friend.’ Chae Yoo-jeong thought as he went silent. Noticing the emotionless expression, Yoo Ji-han, who panicked a bit inside his heart, rushed to change the topic. “Don’t you think this light yellow vest suits you? I want us to have matching uniforms. Maybe I’ll pick the black vest to go with it……” Yoo Ji-han handed him the set of uniforms. “What happened has happened. What we can change is the now, so don’t worry. I’ll make it up to you—for all the times you didn’t get to be with me.” He gently tucked a stray strand of hair behind Chae Yoo-jeong’s ear and brought his face closer, pinching his cheeks affectionately. Chae Yoo-jeong reflexively pulled back when Yoo Ji-han released him, but then he slowly smiled. “Then let me also get back at you.” Chae Yoo-jeong moved closer to Yoo Ji-han and pinched his cheeks gently, before quickly placing a peek on the cheek. He moved to the closest changing room hurriedly. ‘I’m glad his mood’s better than when he first arrived. I was worried he might feel guilty. What a good kid… He’s really grown since I left him at the hospital.’ Once they’d changed into the matching uniforms they rented for a few hours, they hopped into the photo booth and snapped several pictures together, laughing and making silly faces. They wandered hand in hand through the park, smiles bright as if all the snow in the world had melted away instantly. They tried some thrilling rides—bungee drop, gyro swing. Chae Yoo-jeong was nervous at first, but once strapped in, he seemed to enjoy every moment. The loud noises of screaming and screeches surrounded them. Later, they shared churros and waffles, taking a selfie with the treats before heading off to explore more rides. To end their perfect day at the theme park, they visited a tarot shop, as they were curious about what the cards might reveal about their past and future. It was very famous on social media due to how accurate they are. “Choose any three cards from the deck laid before you.” The tarot reader requested with her soft and mysterious voice. A pile of tarot card surrounded her, in a sort that the cards were not revealed. Yoo Ji-han and Chae Yoo-jeong exchanged a glance before each reaching out to pick their cards. Yoo Ji-han’s choices revealed The Emperor, The Queen of Wands, and The Lovers. He looked at the cards thoughtfully, then glanced at Yoo-jeong. “What about you?” Yoo Ji-han asked. Chae Yoo-jeong held his three cards close for a moment before revealing The High priestess, The King of Pentacles, and The Star. The tarot reader’s smile deepened as she turned her attention to Yoo Ji-han’s cards. She spoke to him in a tone calm but rich with layered meaning. “Young man, your cards are quite telling.” She began to explain the meaning behind the cards. “The Emperor, Counterpart to the Empress, represents structure, power, and responsibility. It speaks to a steady hand and someone destined to lead—someone who others naturally look to for guidance. You may find yourself stepping into a position where your decisions carry weight, where people count on you. Often, this card arises when change is imminent—either brought on by external forces or your own quiet resolve.” Yoo Ji-han nodded slowly, visibly taken aback. “That’s true. I did get a promotion recently……” He murmured, eyes flickering with the glow of recognition. She continued, shifting seamlessly to the next card. “The Queen of Wands suggests you’re someone with a magnetic personality—charismatic, passionate, and deeply loyal. You possess a vibrant energy that draws people in, even when you try to keep your distance emotionally. This card also implies a balance—someone who can be fierce yet nurturing, independent but protective over those they care about.” Ji-han’s gaze briefly shifted to Chae Yoo-jeong, an almost imperceptible softness brushing over his features. “And finally……” The reader said, laying her fingertips gently on The Lovers card. “This card is more complex than it appears. While it certainly represents love and relationships, it also speaks to crossroads—choices between two important paths. It may be romantic, personal, or even spiritual. It’s not a warning, but a reminder. When the moment comes, your heart and your head will both guide you. You must listen to both.” Yoo Ji-han sat still for a moment, taking it all in—the quiet truth in her words settling over him like mist. There was something hauntingly accurate in the way she spoke, as if she had glimpsed a corner of his soul. Then, the woman in the black hood tilted her head and asked in a tone, that’s light but curious. “Are you two lovers, by any chance? You both look pretty young, huh?” “Yes.” Chae Yoo-jeong answered proudly without hesitation. His smile was radiant as he held up their intertwined hands for her to see. Yoo Ji-han, on the other hand, slightly turned his head away in a flustered attempt to hide his blushing face. The woman let out a low, amused chuckle. “Heh… adorable. Alright then, let’s take a look at your cards.” Chae Yoo-jeong handed her the three he had selected—The High Priestess, The King of Pentacles, and The Star. The tarot reader tilted her head slightly, gazing down at the cards with an unreadable expression. “Hm… that is very… how should I say……” She murmured in a low volume. Yoo Ji-han and Chae Yoo-jeong exchanged a quick glance, as the tension rose between them like invisible threads tightening in the air. “Is it… something bad?” Chae Yoo-jeong asked, his voice faint and tinged with panic. Even though he knew this could all just be a metaphor, a part of him couldn’t suppress the anxiety knotting in his chest. The woman smiled gently, sensing his concern. “No, not bad. Not at all. Just… deep.” She pointed to the first card. “The High Priestess—this card tells me you have a quiet wisdom in you. You might not always speak it aloud, but your heart knows things your head hasn’t caught up to yet. You feel things deeply. This card encourages you to trust that intuition more. Sometimes, what your heart whispers is more true than what logic screams.” Yoo Ji-han looked over at Chae Yoo-jeong, noticing how still he had become. His expression was unusually serious. He let out a quiet chuckle and gently reached over, taking Chae Yoo-jeong’s hand in his. He gave it a small, reassuring squeeze. Feeling the warmth of Yoo Ji-han’s touch, Chae Yoo-jeong’s tense shoulders eased slightly. He turned his head just a bit and caught the gentle, comforting smile on Yoo Ji-han’s face— soft, steady, and full of quiet support. A slow smile spread across Chae Yoo-jeong’s lips in return, one that held gratitude and a touch of relief. Next, she tapped the second card. “The King of Pentacles—this is your core. Strong, dependable, mature beyond your years. It means you’ve worked hard—maybe too hard—to build something solid, maybe even to prove yourself. People see you as stable, as someone they can lean on. But I wonder… who do you lean on?” Chae Yoo-jeong blinked slowly, with his eyes dropping to the table as the tarot reader’s words lingered in the air like soft echoes. Then, he felt it again—Yoo Ji-han’s hand, squeezing his hand gently. The tarot reader’s gaze softened as she pointed to the final card. “The Star—this card is the light after the storm. It speaks of healing and renewal. Maybe there was a time you felt lost, or hurt… like you were alone even when surrounded by people. But this card is hope. It’s the universe telling you, ‘you’re on the right path now.’ That your wishes, the quiet ones buried deep inside, are finally beginning to rise into the light.” The room felt quieter somehow. As if her words had wrapped around them like a warm blanket. “Well……” The tarot reader looked at them and then said with a small smile. “You two… you’ve both had your share of weight to carry. But these cards? They show balance. Support. And above all, a connection that goes deeper than surface feelings.” She leaned back and added with a playful wink. “And no, nothing bad at all.” Chae Yoo-jeong smiled softly. A visible weight lifted from his chest. He then said quietly. “Thank you.” As they stood and prepared to leave, Yoo Ji-han gave one last look at the table where the cards still lay. He murmured under his breath, just loud enough for Chae Yoo-jeong to hear. “Looks like the stars are rooting for us, huh?” Chae Yoo-jeong’s smile turned brighter, more certain. “Yeah… I think so as well.” They both left the booth, with their fingers still intertwined, walking side by side without a care for who might see them. The noise of the theme park returned, but for them, it all felt quieter— softer. As if the world had taken a breath to let them exist in peace, even just for a little while. “I hope they stay together forever.” The tarot reader whispered to herself with a fond smile. Then, stretching slightly in her chair, she glanced at the time. “Well… time to clear everything up so I can finally eat dinner.” With practiced ease, she gathered the cards, tapping the deck into a neat stack with a single hand. The flick of her wrist sent them sliding perfectly back into place. As the curtain to her booth fluttered gently in the breeze, she cast one final glance just before the couple had disappeared into the crowd—only two silhouettes walking forward together, hand in hand. --- Credits: Writer: Hoshi Miya Co-writer: Miry We made a Discord Server ! please join us!
- I tamed the First Rank Chapter 90
He was able to go back to elementary school. He doesn't know what kind of agreement Kang Seok-woo had with the government, but Hyeon Gyu-ha was given a fake ID. No one at school noticed that the child with the unusually bright face, dyed hair and colored contact lenses, was the 9-year-old genius who once made a big sensation in the world. Although he had completed his basic classes at the training center, his normal school life was not bad. After school, when other kids were going to school, Hyeon Gyu-ha would go in and out of the gate. Kang Seok-woo was reluctant, but he accepted Hyeon Gyu-ha's request to hunt the monster. Instead, he connected him with the Seok-ho Guild, which had a contract with the research institute, saying that he had to go with the adults. It was fun to use the awakening ability and hunt the monsters. But moving the boy was a more fundamental problem. 《Come to me, to our world, my son.》 The curse engraved in his head and his father's fearless call. "Gyu-ha-ya, I'm sorry. I can't stand worrying about your father. He's really lonely." To find his mother who flew away to where his father was. Hyeon Gyu-ha instinctively realized it even without anyone telling him. If you hunt the hidden boss of the dungeon connected to Iad, you will get a crystal stone. If you inject your mana into that crystal stone, there is an extremely low chance that it will become a key to open the path to Iad. I had to collect seven keys. Maybe in my lifetime. Maybe I would never be able to collect them even after my entire life. The boy ran for his duty and purpose. Hyeon Gyu-ha diligently hunted the monster and refined his abilities, not knowing that a terrible boredom awaited him at the end. I missed my mom. Kang Seok-woo was a researcher at a research institute sponsored by a large corporation. He spent a lot of time locked up in the research institute, but after bringing Hyeon Gyu-ha, he tried to give him more time. The person who never did any housework and made a mess of the house started cleaning and even tried to cook, albeit clumsily. Since he liked helping him study, he asked him questions about things that weren't difficult. Even though he was busy, he would always take time out on holidays to spend time with him. They went hiking and watched soccer games. They cleaned up the place because it was covered in dust, and we even went to the bathhouse together. Your son is really tall and handsome. Whenever people he met greeted him, Kang Seok-woo just smiled, and Hyeon Gyu-ha held his hand tightly. We spent a lot of time together. A lot of time. Thanks to that, Hyeon Gyu-ha also learned a lot about him. That the song he always hums is trot. That he still misses his wife even though it has been years since she died from an illness. That the large company he receives sponsorship from is Yangsa. That his main research is about the hidden attributes of a specific race. After a drink, Kang Seok-woo became very excited and chattered. While listening with interest, Hyeon Gyu-ha's mouth was twitching. It's a parallel world. My mom and dad are there too. But it was something he couldn't say. If it were Kang Seok-woo, he wouldn't treat him like a crazy person and would believe him seriously, but his instincts and his father's voice engraved in his head told him not to say it lightly. It was something he couldn't say to him, even to the man who had taken him out of the training camp and cared for him like his own father. Biological father. Hyeon Gyu-ha was very surprised when he thought of that word. That's right. That's right. The 'father' I saw in books or on TV felt exactly like this. It wasn't someone who had only given me blood and genes and never seen his face, but this person. Kang Seok-woo emptied another can of beer while saying that and muttered bitterly. <...…My wife said. The long journey must have been difficult, so she went with the baby in her stomach. It was a son.> <…….> Kang Seok-woo hesitated for a long time, as if he was going to say something, then just smiled bitterly and roughly stroked Hyeon Gyu-ha’s hair. The one word that dangled in the boy’s mouth was difficult to wrap around. Dad. From the next day, Hyeon Gyu-ha's daily life became immersed in the lab, where he could meet Kang Seok-woo more often. At the lab, he could hear Kang Seok-woo singing trot songs more often. *** “Squeak Squeak…………….” 8-se sniffled and dug into the palm of his hand. Perhaps it was trying to comfort me. He forced a smile and held 8-se’s round body. It was impossible to tell how much time had passed. The streets that were once filled with people had become quiet, and most of the buildings had disappeared. This must mean that the power that had made up the city was being withdrawn and put into battle. Ring. In Yoo-shin pressed the ring he had been fiddling with all the time. He had to use the power of this ring. It was scary to see him blindly tied up, but it was even scarier to see him get hurt while searching for himself. He placed his hand on the ring, infused it with mana, and licked his lips. "Pa……………." However, the trigger word 'break' could not completed. “Squeak! Squeak!” 8-se bumped into his small body. As he was about to drop his hand, he fell face down on his ring finger. It was an action that clearly showed his intentions without having to express it in words. “………………You mean I'm not supposed to use the ring?” “Squeak!” “Why? Gyu-ha-ssi might be hurt. 8-seya, can you please step aside?” “Squeak!” The weakling who would faint even when fighting broke out held on for the first time. He tried to lift him up, but he held on with all his strength in his short legs. “Why are you like this too……………….” In the end, In Yoo-shin, who was unable to forcibly separate from 8-se, lowered his head in sorrow. It felt as if his blocked chest was turning upside down and throbbing. If it weren't for me, Hyeon Gyu-ha would have hunted the monsters without any hesitation and prepared to attack the hidden boss. A person who was born with everything was caught up in my own insignificance and was falling apart. Grandma's cries resonate painfully. I guess I should have died 14 years ago. *** I confessed when I was in the 6th grade. While hanging around the lab, I found out that Kang Seok-woo was more obsessed with researching attributes than I had imagined. However, I was worried that the attribute of being a vampire would go back to the point of inferring his Father, so I couldn't easily open up to him. Kang Seok-woo froze. What if he gets angry and asks why I told him now? The boy's small heart kept pounding, but he was worried. Soon a bright smile took over Kang Seok-woo's face. Hyeon Gyu-ha, who was so happy to see him that he laughed along with him, didn't realize that the emotion on Kang Seok-woo's face was excessive. It was a kind of crazy joy. They took his blood. They did all sorts of experiments on his body. Sometimes he would get injected with drugs and lose consciousness for a long time, and then wake up to the sound of Kang Seok-woo happily singing a trot song. But it was okay. If it helped 'Dad'. A year and several months passed in an instant. Despite his young age, his A-class body somehow endured all kinds of experiments. He collapsed several times, but he didn’t tell Kang Seok-woo. Kang Seok-woo laughed heartily and patted Hyeon Gyu-ha’s shoulder, who was already as tall as him. I don’t know the theory, but if I could revive a vampire with my blood, would that make him a clone of my father in Iad? While thinking about such meaningless thoughts, Hyeon Gyu-ha chewed on the cynicism he couldn’t express to Kang Seok-woo. Immortality and such. What good is that? At best, it would be the cornerstone of a city. Suddenly, Kang Seok-woo coughed and grabbed Hyeon Gyu-ha’s hand. It was still as big and warm as when they first held each other. It was the word he had been waiting for. The sound of his excited heart pounding and thumping echoed dizzily in his head. Kang Seok-woo, who was patting Hyeon Gyu-ha's hand, added something as if he had forgotten. The reason I didn't immediately say, "Okay, Dad," was because I wanted to savor this joy and excitement a little more. I thought I sounded like a child, but whatever. I'm a 1-4 year old kid. I should have realized it then. The reason he didn't answer right away was not because of a childish sentiment, but because it was an alarm bell from his instincts that sensed danger. I should have realized it then and gone very far away. To a place where Kang Seok-woo's eyes cannot reach. Very far away. ------ Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor/Proofreader: Editor M, eteryl If you wanna become a translator, editor or proofreader, please use the discord link given below and follow the instructions in the recruit channel. - That guy is This guy fanfic Chapter 3
3. The day of their first anniversary arrived, and fortunately, Yoo Ji-han was able to take two to three months off from work to attend German speaking classes during this period. He and Chae Yoo-jung had planned the day in advance: Chae Yoo-jung would take charge of the morning-to-noon activities, while Yoo Ji-han was responsible for the plans from evening to night. Chae Yoo-jeong, who wore nothing but an apron, paired with the freshly packed thighs, that could be told from a mile away that he had gone to gym for a year long just for this day. As he prepared a delicious breakfast in the kitchen, a smell of fresh food circulated around the other room. Meanwhile, Yoo Ji-han, still half-asleep, lazily got up and went to brush his teeth. Curious about the delicious smells wafting through the apartment, he wandered over to peek into the kitchen — and nearly dropped his toothbrush. His eyes slowly traced down Yoo-jeong’s toned, gym-sculpted thighs, clearly the result of a year’s worth of dedication — all, it seemed, for this very moment. Yoo Ji-han looked a bit terrified, but he gulped—perhaps a little too excited. ‘Holy damn!’ Chae Yoo-jeong noticed the small eye peeking from behind the door and smiled gently. As if a glow of light splashed onto Ji-han’s eyes, due to Yoo-jeong’s smile, it felt so overwhelming to stare at him. He can’t comprehend whether this feeling was due to jealousy of his good looks or that he loved him too much. Let’s just say it’s a bit of both. ‘He’s too much. Ugh…… I might not be able to leave the house at this rate.’ Feeling ashamed, he swung behind the door so that Chae Yoo-jeong wouldn’t catch him sneaking a shameless look. Yoo Ji-han’s cheeks turned bright red as he covered his mouth and nose thoughtlessly. ‘He probably saw me already. Uh… What should I do?! I’ll lose my legs at this rate.’ Yoo Ji-han was panicking about what might happen. He ran to the bathroom, looked at himself in the mirror, and slapped some water onto his face to calm himself down. But as he saw his already blushing reflection, his face only turned even redder. He sighed, to calm down while holding the edge of the wash base to hold himself up. The flushed colors from his face faded away after a few minutes. He smiled nervously and regained his original calm composure, before Chae Yoo-jeong called for him. “Yoo Ji-han- ah ~!” “Coming~.” Yoo Ji-han replied, then sighed again. He glanced back at the cabinet, where he put all the stuff that he bought without Yoo-jeong finding out what it was. ‘Trying to find a way to hide it was the hard part.’ Luckily, it arrived around the time that Chae Yoo-jeong was out shopping for groceries, under the receipt that the package delivery was an antique book. Yoo Ji-han, then quickly rushed to sit down at the table, deliberately avoiding eye contact with Chae Yoo-jeong. As Yoo Ji-han quietly sat down, Chae Yoo-jeong approached and placed a plate full of the delicious food in front of him. There were a variety of items, such as waffles, pancakes, honey, chocolate syrup and fruits on the side. It looked so luxurious that it looked like it was cooked by a professional chef. I guess Chae Yoo-jeong, who had been taking cooking classes for a whole year, finally paid off. The golden color and freshly sweet smell of the pancakes made Ji-han nearly drool. He slowly cut the pancake smeared in the honey and pushed it into his mouth, while trying to hint that he was definitely not excited, but of course, it failed. The small bite of the pancake melted into his mouth, and the sunshine fell from the window on his face as if he was taken to heaven at this moment. Chae Yoo-jeong smirked so much that it felt like he was teasing Yoo Ji-han and squinted his eyes. In front of his eyes, Yoo Ji-han was showing a different variety of emotions, as if he was trying to conceal it but still failed at it, which seemingly looked cute to him. He was nervous about today and that is why……. “Good morning, Hyung! Yoo Ji-han Hyung, look at me, please.” Chae Yoo-jeong said in a cute voice, gazing at his hyung with puppy eyes. He could only hope that his voice didn’t waver. He might look shameless on the outside, but he on the inside of his mind was cringing really hard. ‘Aaah.’ A silent scream echoed in Yoo Ji-han’s mind. Chae Yoo-jeong knew his weakness. It was his looks. Yoo Ji-han turned his neck to gaze at Chae Yoo-jeong. Chae Yoo-jeong’s cheeks glowed with the soft pink color possible. Even his hair, dyed in the brightest yellow-brown, made him seem like the sun of the universe itself. ‘So beautiful…….’ Yoo Ji-han didn’t know where to look. Chae Yoo-jeong had placed the fluffiest pancakes ever possibly made on the planet of earth in front of him. ‘I couldn’t possibly compare him to the fluffiest pancake.’ His eyes wandered, captivated by both the pancakes and Chae Yoo-jeong himself. ‘I don’t know what my mind is even thinking, right now.’ While Yoo Ji-han was internally screaming, Chae Yoo-jeong sat beside him and leaned his head on his shoulder, still smiling. Yoo Ji-han brought the fork to Chae Yoo-jeong’s mouth, giving him a bite of pancake. His heart skipped a beat as they shared the sweetest moment together. Trying to distract himself from his weird thoughts that ran in his head, he blurted out, but after he instantly regretted it. “Isn’t it kinda cold to be wearing nothing?” ‘Yoo Ji-han, seriously? What did you just say, you stupid idiot!’ He mentally slapped himself, cursing his inability to say something more meaningful. Chae Yoo-jeong just chuckled. “Hyung…… we already decided to split the day’s schedule between us. So that we can enjoy whatever we prepared. For each other.” Chae Yoo-jeong reached out to brush a strand of hair from Yoo Ji-han’s face, leaning over the table. Yoo Ji-han was doing his best not to look at his chest, especially as the apron’s loose strap shifted downward with the movement. He himself was embarrassed to wear this, but it seems like it was worth it in the end, if he was able to see Ji-han make an expression like that. Chae Yoo-jeong noticed that Yoo Ji-han was sneaking glances at his chest. A smirk tugged at his lips as he leaned in slightly, voice low and teasing. ‘This teasing will never reach an end today, the longer he remains naked like this.’ “Hyung… you might as well stare at it now. Enjoy it all while you can. It’s not every day you get to see this. But if you want to see this everyday…… I might do it if you just ask me to.” Chae Yoo-jeong chuckled and then whispered into his ears. “Since I’ll refrain from having sex in this morning. I don’t want to ruin what Hyung prepared for this special day, so don’t worry. Hahaha……” He tilted his head as his bangs swayed in the movement. He looked so innocent that it was impossible to know whether the previous words really came out of his mouth. “I’m really looking forward to seeing what you’ve got in store for this beautiful day, Hyung.” Yoo Ji-han quickly looked away. A faint flush rising to his cheeks— embarrassed at being caught staring. Then, Chae Yoo-jeong leaned his head on his hand and smirked with devilish intent glinting in his eye, as his eyes ignited with a fierce, golden glow. ‘I couldn’t tell if it was the sunlight streaming through the window…… or if his eyes had truly changed.’ Chase Yoo-jeong trembled a little from the slight cold wind of the morning air. After teasing him with his eyes, as if to say “You shouldn’t have teased me too much. This is what you get.”, Yoo Ji-han shoved a forkful of pancakes and waffles into his mouth before sprinting away. *** After a while, Chae Yoo-jeong told Yoo Ji-han about their plans to go to the beach. Yoo Ji-han hurriedly put on his clothes that were prepared beforehand for this occasional day. Before Chae Yoo-jeong could catch up, he checked himself quickly in the mirror. It was clear Yoo Ji-han was still embarrassed after what had happened that morning. ‘It wasn’t me who was in that damn apron, so why am I the one who’s so flustered here? Ugh, damn it.’ Yoo Ji-han walked quickly toward the car without waiting for Chae Yoo-jeong to come out. He opened the door, sat in the passenger seat, and put on his seatbelt. Then, he waited silently for Chae Yoo-jeong, trying to calm himself. After Chae Yoo-jeong sat in the driver’s seat, he pulled down the sun visor and started to drive. Yoo Ji-han looked out the window at the view that surrounded them with a smile. Within an hour or two, they arrived at the beach. They could still see the sun as if it was rising up from the center of the sea. It was still a bit chilly since it was too early, but they exchanged smiles as they looked at each other. Yoo Ji-han took out his phone to take a picture of Chae Yoo-jeong with the small rising sun glowing softly behind the sea in the background. Then, Yoo Ji-han’s hand was gently grabbed by Chae Yoo-jeong, who pulled him closer for a selfie. Only smiles filled the photos, as if their indifferent past didn’t matter at all. They dipped their feet into the foaming water and walked forward, hand in hand, along the ocean’s edge, feeling the warmth of the sun and coldness of the ocean. Yoo Ji-han turned his gaze toward Chae Yoo-jeong. His golden hair seemed to glow with a radiant light. ‘Since I was younger, I never believed in such a thing named “fate”.’ Yoo Ji-han bit his lip in thought. “Do you think there’s such a thing as fate?” Yoo Ji-han asked, while smiling bitterly. A cold breeze was sweeping between their fingertips as they walked together in the same rhythm. “I don’t… think there’s something like fate. If it were, I wouldn’t have ended up in your hands.” Chae Yoo-jeong tucked a few strands of his hair behind his ear, while looking down as the waves were rinsing the sand behind his legs. His eyes looked like they were holding back tears, as the reflected light made them glisten even more. Noticing this, Yoo Ji-han suddenly raised the hand holding Chae Yoo-jeong’s and pulled it forward at chest level, causing Chae Yoo-jeong to lose his balance and fall into the water. Yoo Ji-han laughed loudly at Chae Yoo-jeong’s situation, clutching his stomach as if it might burst. Chae Yoo-jeong looked surprised. “You… hahaha…. should really see your face, now.” Chae Yoo-jeong grabbed Yoo Ji-han’s hand and pulled him into the water. Yoo Ji-han ended up sitting on Chae Yoo-jung’s legs, and both ended up being drenched in the salt water. Then, Chae Yoo-jeong burst out laughing. Yoo Ji-han was so shocked that he stayed still for a few seconds. When the surprise faded, he started giggling. They soon started splashing water at each other, caught up in a joy that seemed to last forever. After playing for a while, they returned to their car and changed out of their wet clothes. Then, they spent some time exploring the area and taking in the sights. They took some more pictures as well as talking about themselves and how nice this air feels, and various other things. Chae Yoo-jeong asked so naturally which made Yoo Ji-han almost answer the question. “What are you planning for the night, Hyung?” “Um…….” Yoo Ji-han jolted from his hypnotized senses that almost made him reply to what he was planning although it was meant to be a secret till the grand reveal of today. “How dare you hypnotize me into revealing it!!” Before he hit him, Yoo-jeong ran away, laughing playfully. And he ran after him with a dash sprint. He hitted him and pulled his cheeks meanly, while he only pouted playfully. Eventually, they arrived at a restaurant with a reserved table on the second floor. There, they enjoyed a lunch filled with fresh seafood. --- Credits: Writer: Hoshi Miya Co-writer: Miry We made a Discord Server ! please join us!

*** This was war. Even while fighting the monsters, that strange thought occurred to him. When we sent out a drone to observe, there was nothing unusual other than the savannah of central Africa. In the distance, there was an area that looked like a city, and there were 'human' figures lined up with weapons. The monsters inside this gate had the shape of a complete human. Hunters are those who hunt monsters, not humans. Even though they had prepared themselves mentally in advance, there were some hunters who hesitated and were unable to immediately attack the 'humans' who rushed in like a tidal wave as soon as they entered the gate. But it was soon proven that they were not human. They had human form, shouted human cries, and used human weapons, but they were monsters. Torn limbs would instantly recover if only the crystals were still there, and the cold weapons they held would never become dull no matter how much they were cut. The musket fire that occasionally appeared seemed endless. The trampling of the war elephants shook the plains, and their roars became shockwaves, vibrating fiercely. This gate is the territory of the hidden boss. The land that had been a grassland until just now, when a group of monsters surrounded it and was in danger, began to shake and rise, changing its terrain. In the blink of an eye, the grassy plains turned into a city, and the monsters hiding behind the buildings shot arrows and guns. “What the hell is this damn gate!” The irritated shout of a hunter coming from somewhere represented Lee Hye-yeon's feelings. The terrain changed without warning, so all the carefully thought out tactics were in vain, and eventually the formation was scattered and turned into a one-on-one fight. Lee Hye-yeon stabbed the chest of the monster swaying an axe in front with her bare hands and pulled out the crystal stone, while simultaneously kicking the back and destroying the face of another monster sway. She then tore open the chest of the monster swaying with its face crushed and pulled out the crystal stone. 'Oh my. My blood sugar is dropping....... How many hours have passed?' Unlike hunting other demons, you had to destroy or extract the crystals, so it took more work. The decrease in ability value due to the numerous debuffs was also not insignificant. “Jang beom!” "Okay!" In the midst of the chaotic battle, the two people who stood out with the most brilliant achievements were the two members of the Narsha Guild. The arrows of Jang Beom, an aerokineticist, flew in on the accelerated flow of air, and the fire of the empty space carried by the churning gusts exploded. A huge hurricane of fierce wind blades and white salt appeared, burning white in the surroundings and tearing dozens of demons apart and turning them into ashes. Jang Beom burst out in hearty laughter. “See, this intoxicating taste of pure bliss is why I can't leave Narsha! Papa! We're together forever! I'll never let you go!” "I told you if you keep talking like that again, I'll break your mouth!" Jang Beom had to keep his mouth shut because Gong Tae-seong really blew a white fireball at his face. While the surroundings were cleaned, Lee Hye-yeon took a short break and took out an energy bar to slurp down. It was made with a special high-calorie content and was mixed with berries collected from the dungeon, so it was mainly eaten by hunters. “Where do you come from?” “The sun is directly overhead no matter where you go, so you should be able to tell the direction. It’s roughly around there.” Looking in the direction that Gong Tae-seong was pointing, there were blackened burn marks here and there. “Didn’t you see Gyuha on your way here?” “I saw him flying across the sky, but he disappeared before I could even speak to him. Even if I had spoken to him, I don’t know if he would have even heard me.” “Ugh.” Just as I thought. Lee Hye-yeon couldn't hide her dismay and sank into a deep sleep. It's better than going berserk in an irrational state and attacking our own allies, but still…… “It’s difficult because even ‘Munin’s Eye’ won’t work here.” ““The Eye of Munin? Are you talking about the stalking artifact?” “Oh. I heard from Seong-gil that Gyu-ha used the skill ‘Eye of Munin’ on Yoo-shin.” Contrary to his frivolous words and actions, Jang Beom, who was quite sharp, smirked while eating an energy bar. “Noona, I heard that when Department of Supernatural affairs brought Gyu-ha in, he gave them a lot of conveniences? No matter what Gyu-ha did, he would say yes and no and keep talking, so he must have done it in order to make a big deal out of it, but it turned out to be completely useless, so we’re in big trouble.” “Even if he is pressured from above or beaten up by public opinion, it won’t affect Gyu-ha at all……………….” “His boyfriend wouldn’t do that. He’s young and innocent, and he looks like he’d be a perfect prey. How old is he?” “Only twenty-two.” “Oh my. You’re so childish, childish.” Jang Beom's snickering perfectly explained Lee Hye Yeon's worries. Even after several hours of entering, there was no end to the hordes of monsters. It was a terrifyingly large dungeon. Cleaning up after conquering it was also a problem. The same goes for In Yoo-shin's safety. Gong Tae-seong rubbed the back of his neck and muttered bitterly. "It's true that you're doing something quite stupid, but I can understand how you feel." "Whoa. So, if Miss or the Vice President were kidnapped, does that mean Papa would also go berserk with rage? No matter when I see it, our Papa is so genuinely loving, it's really cool." To be honest, Lee Hye-yeon also somewhat agreed with this. If my family had been affected by the incident, I wouldn't have been able to maintain my composure. Of course, Jang Beom added a word. “Even so, he got divorced and doesn't have custody.” It seemed as if a cracking sound was coming from Gong Tae-seong's face. Is divorce the latest trending topic among Gong Tae-seong's acquaintances these days? It feels good to see him every time, so I think I know how Jin-hyeok Choi feels. If I had to say, I guess it's popularity. Forgetting that she herself had beaten him up for mentioning divorce, Lee Hye-yeon shoved the rest of the energy bar into her mouth and rushed towards the monsters. *** The terrain changes. A monster appears. The terrain changes. A monster appears. Just like the scenery inside the gate that is mixed up in a dizzying manner, Hyeon Gyu-ha's consciousness is also thrown into disarray. The past is turned into the present, and the present is buried in the past. The news that a 9 year old child had cleared the erosion gate alone caused a stir in South Korea. The young awakened child, who might be called a genius of the generation when he grows up, received a sensational spotlight from the media. But there was no adult who correctly understood that the child was only 9 years old. A 9-year-old child without parents or guardians. The government sent Hyeon Gyu-ha to a training center under the pretext of early education for a genius who was judged to be a Class A as soon as he woke up at a young age. The child's will was not important and there were no adults to ask him. Mandatory education was replaced by homeschooling. The rest of the time was training, training, training, and hunting down monsters. He didn't even meet friends or children of his age. The Awakeners who trained with him were fiercely jealous of the genius who was less than half his age. The only things he talked about with his instructors were about training and the monsters. Even though he was surrounded by many people, he was always alone. The fact that he was a genius without a guardian further increased the child's utility. Someone above, full of ambition disguised as patriotism, decided this. Let's educate him well from childhood and train him to be a watchdog for the country. In this way, the child was completely isolated and secluded from society. There were only two types of people in the training camp: those who wanted to use him or those who were angry and jealous. The child who was left standing alone gave up all expectations of people. But it didn't really matter. He was too busy finding the passage to Iad to have the time to pay attention to his surroundings. If he hadn't met that man, the child would have slowly rotted away without even knowing what was wrong. Kang Seok-woo. The first time he felt a father's love. 〈How is not sending a child to school any different from abuse? Even though interest has died down now because he didn’t appear in the media after clearing the erosion gate, there are still many people who remember Gyu-ha. I know a lot of reporters, should I grab one and poke around? I bet I can get a good headline. 'The Reality of a Government That Makes a Young Genius Sick.' Sounds good.〉 The training center had no choice but to let the child go. Although he is taller than his peers, he is still a child. Kang Seok-woo bent down and met their gaze. The eyes behind the thick glasses were filled with laughter. I thought that this was the kind of person a real 'adult' was. I carefully grabbed the man's rough hand. It was a large, adult-like hand, and very warm. The child laughed bashfully. That's how my life with Kang Seok-woo began. ------ Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor/Proofreader: Editor M, eteryl If you wanna become a translator, editor or proofreader, please use the discord link given below and follow the instructions in the recruit channel. "Over there." Heo Jeong-hyeon followed the fingertips of Lee Hye-yeon, who stretched her arms out into the air, and moved her gaze. It was above the area known as the gate, a distorted space the size of the Gangnam Center building. Hyeon Gyu-ha was floating in the air, looking down at the gate. "He's been like that all along." Heo Jeong-hyeon clicked his tongue. "Is that why he couldn't attend the meeting?" "I barely managed to calm him down, but I couldn't bring myself to bring him to the meeting. I told him what happened at the meeting, but I don't know if he even listened. There wasn't much to listen to anyways." Fortunately or unfortunately, there wasn't much useful information exchanged during the meeting. It was not a large guild but a coalition of local small guilds that defeated the hidden boss, 'The Sadist Who Chews Hearts and Swallows Blood'. The guild leaders were willing to cooperate and even provided detailed attack patterns, but it is questionable how far they will go since the hidden boss has changed. Even in dungeons with similar backgrounds, the bosses are somewhat different. This goes without saying for hidden bosses, whose appearance probability is significantly lower. Several dungeons related to Nzinga were listed in the international organization Gate Security Cooperation Organization, so she analyzed the data there. However, since this was the first time she had appeared in her true form, it was unknown whether the data would be meaningful. What is certain is that the distorted world within the gate is a gigantic dungeon the size of a city. “There are many cases where information on hidden bosses is not leaked because it is valuable, so there is no choice. In our country, there must be more things that are hidden unofficially than those that are officially registered. By the way, the person who was taken hostage is Gyu-ha’s boyfriend? Even if that guy is gay, does that mean he was able to date people?” "You haven't heard the news since you weren't stranded somewhere?" "I thought they'd date for a while and then break up since he's a kid who distrusts people. I didn't know he was that serious. Just how close are they?" Lee Hye-yeon thought about it for a while and then summarized it in one word. “Gyu-ha is keeping an eye on his boyfriend's reactions.” "Oh……………." Heo Jeong-hyeon was impressed. I didn’t think I’ll come to see a day when he was considerate of others. “I would like to meet him too. But to do that, I first have to attack the gate and rescue him safely……………….” "With three S-ranks, how could we not conquer one gate? Since we're on the subject, I didn't know that you would be joining as well. I don't think even the Director expected you to be called when he requested mobilization for Anpang. Even so, since Gyu-ha and Tae-seong, who are of the same rank, are involved." “As a hunter and a citizen, shouldn’t I contribute to my country in times of crisis?” “You don’t believe in that, you do?” Heo Jeong-hyeon shrugged her shoulders with a laugh. “It’s a request from the vice president who is on a business trip to Germany. He asked me to help him as much as possible after hearing reports that his boyfriend was kidnapped and that his child was mentally unstable. Well, it’s also to build a good image for our guild and our company. On top of that, there's a rumor circulating quietly in Yeouido that the prosecution might summon the Chairman.” “I guess that’s what the Vice President would do.” Lee Hye-yeon nodded in agreement. It has been well known for over a decade that Vice President Min Geut-nyeo of Yangsa has been supporting Hyeon Gyu-ha, who is not even a member of the Anpang Guild, both materially and spiritually. It was so much so that there were even rumors that Hyeon Gyu-ha was Min Geut-nyeo’s half-brother. Chijik. A radio transmission came from the analysis team. Team Leader Lee! It looks like the gate will open soon! It looks like we have to enter from the outside. “Launch a drone right now and observe the inside.” The dungeon observation drone powered by the crystal stone still has a radio connection even when passing through the gate. It was dangerous to enter the dungeon without caution, as there was a high possibility that the entire dungeon had become the territory of the hidden boss. It was expensive and not something that even the Department of Supernatural affairs used often, but when else would one use it if not in an emergency like now? Fortunately, it wasn't a situation where a wave of monsters would pour out of the gate, so I planned to attack carefully. “The gate will open soon. We will enter after observing the inside, so please prepare and stand by.” At Lee Hye-yeon’s words, tension rose again in the room. Then, the opaque, distorted scenery shattered into pieces like a broken mirror and scattered. "Hey! Hyeon Gyu-ha!" Hyeon Gyu-ha jumped in faster than the waiting drone. “Aren’t you hungry?” “Squeak.” 8- se shook his face back and forth. Last time in the dungeon, he even ate the leaves with relish, but here he didn't even take a sip of water. This must be because it was an illusion, not a real thing. 'Even 8- se would be hungry, what should I do?' When In Yoo-shin looked at his watch, it was already late at night. If everything had gone according to plan, I would have had dinner with Hyun Gyu Ha and waited for the movie to start. [Current status:-] He fiddled with his left hand, staring at the status window that had remained unchanged for hours. The familiar hamster-shaped curve pressed against the skin of my fingers. Using this ring here would allow him to come to me. However, he kept hesitating about whether he should really use the ring, which was no different from his mother's keepsake. Seeing the status window continue to show no emotion, this relationship became even more frightening. Is it really appropriate to be blindly tied to one person, even by force? Long-standing anxiety and worry were gnawing at his soul. If you die here. In Yoo-shin bit his lower lip as he made the assumption. The taming would be lifted immediately and Hyeon Gyu-ha would be free. If you don't die and wait for him here or call him with the ring. While I, who has nothing but a pathetic taming ability, helplessly waits to be rescued, Hyeon Gyu-ha will blindly rush over, regardless of the attacks from Nzinga and the monsters. He won't even care if he gets seriously injured or loses his life in the process. Only to me. Parents who died to save me. Hyeon Gyu-ha, who might die to save me. In Yoo-shin covered his face with difficulty. I couldn't find a reason to live here. If only I had died on Nzinga's spear instead of in flames back then. If only that had happened. “Squeak!” The sound of a new cry pierced my mind sharply. I looked up and saw the 8-year-old jumping up and down while looking toward the window. I looked in that direction without thinking and saw the reflection in Lee Yu-si’s eyes. A sharp cry pierced his mind. He suddenly raised his gaze and saw 8- se jumping up and down while looking toward the window. In Yoo-shin looked in that direction without thinking and what he saw was warriors lined up with weapons. The war has begun. *** [You have entered the 'Two Kingdoms', the exclusive domain of the 'King Who Respects Every Blade of Grass'.] [All abilities are reduced by 20 percent.] [The effectiveness of all bound artifacts and common artifacts is reduced by 20 percent.] [Unable to expand a unique field.] [Angola's bound artifacts and common artifacts cannot be used.] [The effectiveness of Portuguese artifacts and common artifacts is reduced by 50 percent.] As soon as he entered the gate, the debuffs kept spewing out messages, but Hyeon Gyu-ha didn't see them. He didn't even realize that his limbs were heavier than usual because his ability values were reduced in proportion to his stats. He didn't know that the high blades of the spears that seemed to pierce the sky were slicing into his flesh, or that the shockwaves from the roar of the war elephants were sweeping through his body. He don't even know what the cry is coming out of his mouth. "!" Yoo-shin. Yoo-shin. In Yoo-shin. Only that one name rules him. The Hidden Boss' territory was declared, and the connection with the 'Eye of Munin' was also cut off. No matter how much he raised the coordinates, they were not visible. The coordinates in his heart that had reassured him by saying 'Master is here' whenever he felt anxious were now empty. My vision is flipped, torn, and tangled as it flies by at a dizzying speed. And yet I can't see it. I can't find it. I can't find it. Why aren't you wearing the ring? If you had, you could have gone outside the gate in one go. Is it because you're unconscious or injured to the point where you can't even wear the ring? Unless it is. ……Is it because I am not needed? A tiresome humming of trot. That soft voice that has been engraved in my mind since birth, that curse. As soon as the wall of his heart, which he had firmly packed and filled to ensure it wouldn't waver, began to shake, it appeared, forcing its way through the crack. “Aaaaaaaaaah!” Is tearing the throat a scream? A shriek? At the end of his sobbing, he begs. It's okay if you don't need me, it's okay if you think I'm useless, it's okay if you want to throw me away because it's annoying. Just don't get hurt, don't be sick, don't struggle. Please. I wish you were there I don't care if a world without you perishes. The son of the king who supported the perishing world cried like that. ------ Credits: Translator: Hoshi Miya Editor/Proofreader: Editor M, eteryl If you wanna become a translator, editor or proofreader, please use the discord link given below and follow the instructions in the recruit channel. - That guy is This guy fanfic Chapter 2
2. On a weekend, Yoo Ji-han sat at home browsing through the internet to search for things. Chae Yoo-jeong was out buying groceries, while planning what he would cook for the two of them later that evening within his mind. ‘This is the perfect time to check it since Yoo-jeong is away now.’ Yoo Ji-han was casually rolling down on bed. He was flipping through some clothes store or item store on his phone to see what he could gift him. Then, he looked through the adult shop, a mischievous but soft smile tugging at his lips as he searched for something fun to surprise Chae Yoo-jeong with. ‘Since I’m already on this site, I might as well get something for my cute puppy.’ He thought of a silly excuse while he chuckled softly. He was imagining all sorts of +19 stuff he wanted to do with Chae Yoo-jeong from the various items listed in the store. As he scrolled, he imagined his partner’s reaction, hoping to find just the thing that would make him blush and laugh at the same time. His finger paused mid-swipe when something intriguing caught his eye. ‘Very interesting…… hm……’ He murmured, before recalling, ‘I told my supervisor about the Germany project and that I accepted the offer.’ “I knew that you would accept although you had doubts. Couldn’t resist this temptation, huh?” My supervisor slapped me on the back as we embarked on a night company dinner outing. All with beers in hand, with a light drizzle of foam spilling over the sides. We held this dinner as a way to congratulate those selected for the Germany project. During the event, they announced plans to start a branch in Germany, with a selection process to take place in two or three years. After some speeches, people began to eat barbecue and drink beer. “Cheers!” “Cheers! Now, drink up ‘till nothing’s left. Congrats to all those who were selected.” “Congrats!” The head and the goddess of our department were too enthusiastic. I watched them both smiling as I sat on the sidelines with the other guys in my department. ‘It’s just my speculation, but I wonder if something’s going on between them. Never mind……’ I started to gulp down my beer from the glass jar and asked for another one. “This guy has a high alcohol tolerance.” Some people in my department raised their heads to point me out to the head. “I’ll whip up something for ya. Hahaha……” The goddess of the department, Min Luna looked at her with concern. ‘I can handle up to four bottles. This much is nothing for me.’ Most of them ended up being so blacked out to the point they started to fall asleep. They were impressed by my tolerance to alcohol. After saying that I had to leave now. I was glancing at my phone as I stepped outside. My eyes scanned the area as I searched for the person who had texted me. When I spotted him as he was waiting for me, next to his car, I started to smile, and I began walking toward him. As I slowly approached the car, Chae Yoo-jeong’s eyes lit up the moment he noticed me. He waved his hand and smiled. He opened the car door as I approached, so I could get in. He waited for me to get in, but when he noticed I wasn’t moving, he looked at me curiously. I smiled and opened my arms. His face turned red, but he didn’t hesitate to pull me into a warm hug. I snuggled in his arms and rubbed my face in his shoulder. ‘I love his scent…… It always calms me down.’ The memory of that day ends. Yoo Ji-han looked back at his phone to see the time. His smile disappeared when he saw what he had been looking up with his subconsciousness, and he sighed. ‘I started to search for something nice to gift him. And now, I ended up at an adult shop. Well done me.’ Yoo Ji-han slapped his forehead in disbelief before continuing to scroll with his curiosity now at its peak. ‘As I thought before, since I’m already on this site, I might as well buy something.’ His eyes landed on a playful costume set, complete with dog ears and a matching tail plug, with a combo offer. He silently added it to the cart and proceeded with the purchase without a single shred of shame in his eyes. *** While Chae Yoo-jeong waited for Yoo Ji-han to come back home, he spent time researching colleges in Germany. His stepfather would handle the admission process and funding, including recommendations and even the interview, through backdoor connections. Yoo Ji-han was confirmed to go to X University, which is famous for its scholarships for international students. Seeing Yoo Ji-han so excited made Chae Yoo-jeong’s heart skip a beat just from recalling it. He blushed slightly before typing more into the search bar to learn more about that University. He went through other universities as well on the website blog 'Top 10 Universities in Germany’. *** On a late night, the night that was going to be the last time Yoo Ji-han worked at the company in Korea, he came back home late, due to some last hold ups. ‘Oh God…… I can't believe they made me work overtime on my last day.’ Yoo Ji-han sighed. Seeing that no one came when he rang the doorbell, he took a key from his pocket and opened the door. He walked into the bedroom and found Chae Yoo-jeong sleeping in front of his desktop, the dim light from the screen casting over his face. ‘So cute!’ Rubbing his chin as if in judgment as to whether he should wake him up or not, Yoo Ji-han silently marveled at his sleeping face, dozing off with a slight smirk. Then, he noticed the title of the blog before the light disappeared, as the mouse stopped moving. ‘Top 10 universities in Germany…….’ He was a bit confused as to why, but he gathered some blankets in his hand and covered Chae Yoo-jeong’s sleeping body. He decided to not disturb his sleep and asked him tomorrow why, as he was free from work except for a German speaking class provided by the company, which would run from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. the following day. Yoo Ji-han went to take a shower, then lay down on the bed, watching the back of Chae Yoo-jeong. Tired from work, he fell asleep very quickly. Chae Yoo-jeong woke up in the middle of the night and hurriedly turned his head toward the bed, seeing Yoo Ji-han sleeping peacefully. He sighed and shut down his computer. *** The next day, Chae Yoo-jeong went to the gym early and returned home to make breakfast for Yoo Ji-han. He set the table with plates of toast and eggs, along with cups of green tea, placing everything neatly on both sides so they could eat together. While they were in the middle of eating, Yoo Ji-han spoke up. “Why were you researching universities in Germany?” Chae Yoo-jeong froze, turning stiff like an ice cube. Knowing that lying would be pointless, he forced himself to be honest and began recounting the full story of what had happened with his stepfather. Yoo Ji-han listened carefully as Chae Yoo-jeong, frowning slightly, spoke tensely about his stepfather and how he’d been cornered into making an ultimatum to go to a university of his own choice. While being able to choose wasn’t bad in itself, the whole situation left his mood completely deflated by the end. Chae Yoo-jeong smiled and spoke. “Well, I chose to go to Germany because I wanted to be there with you as well.” Chae Yoo-jeong says with a wink, a hint of happiness, returning at the thought of being with his hyung. “Fortunately, I can study architecture while the real expert is right next to me.” Yoo Ji-han pinched his nose bridge as if he was ashamed of himself. ‘How could I even think about doubting him?’ “Oh well…… the date for the departure is fixed and the tickets are already booked. Ha……” ‘I knew that Chae Yoo-jeong was suffering on the inside. He had been going to counseling regularly too, but I wasn’t sure if it was enough. Still, it’s a good thing he had the courage to cut off his family ties once and for all. I just wish I could’ve been by his side to help him more.’ Yoo Ji-han bit the inside of his cheek, frustrated. ‘I want…… to understand him better. To always be by his side, to never leave him.’ Yoo Ji-han frowned at his own thoughts. ‘What I……’ He paused, then got up and walked over to Chae Yoo-jeong with a warm smile. Chae Yoo-jeong looked at his hyung curiously, confused as to why he’d gotten up before finishing his food. He watched him approach but didn’t move an inch. He hugged him after going up to him. Yoo Ji-han looked at Chae Yoo-jeong’s face, then gently wrapped his arms around his neck and pulled him into a tight hug. ‘Even if I’m already standing here by his side.’ Yoo Ji-han rested his head against Chae Yoo-jeong’s, holding him as if he never wanted to let go. Chae Yoo-jeong’s eyes froze for a moment, unable to understand what was going on in that moment, but quickly hugged him back, happiness blooming on his face. He closed his eyes, resting his cheek against Ji-han’s chest. “……Hyung?” He whispered in a voice quiet but full of emotions. Yoo Ji-han didn’t respond right away, just tightened the hug slightly. There was no need for words to express how much he cared about him. “Yoo-jeong- ah .” “……yes Hyung?” “Yoo-jeong- ah , you understand that I care about you, no?” “…...” “Yoo-jeong- ah…… ” Yoo Ji-han frowned and gently cupped Chae Yoo-jeong’s face in his hands. “Chae Yoo-jeong- ah , then why… didn’t you tell me sooner? It’s been over a month since that happened. And you swallowed all those emotions within you all this time.” “……No, Hyung…… I-I was just surprised…… I’m sorry, I’m really…really sorry……” Chae Yoo-jeong hugged Yoo Ji-han tightly, as if trying to make up for his moment of doubt. Yoo Ji-han smiled. “Look at me, Yoo-jeong- ah .” Chae Yoo-jeong looked at him again, with teary eyes. ‘He knows that those eyes are my weakness.’ Yoo Ji-han sighed softly and reached out to gently caress Chae Yoo-jeong’s cheek. “Yoo-jeong, I’m not mad…… Well, I understand your feelings and I trust you.” Yoo Ji-han saw Chae Yoo-jeong’s worried face and smiled gently to comfort him. “But… you don’t need to worry… I will tell again, and again, and again, how much I care about you.” Chae Yoo-jeong’s face lit up instantly. “I love you so much, Hyung!” Tears began to fall from Chae Yoo-jeong’s eyes. Yoo Ji-han gently wiped them away with a warm smile. He then leaned in and kissed the corner of one eye. “I know… Me too” He whispered. They slowly embraced each other, mixing their salivas in each other's tongues. The corner of Yoo-jeong’s eyes twitched due to the swelling of the crying. Only the muffled gasps and moans of them too remained in the silence of the room. *** MR: I love their dynamic, cool/mature x cute/crybaby. - That guy is This guy fanfic Chapter 1
1. While waiting for the traffic to subside, a handsome chaebol sat in the back seat of a sleek black foreign car. As he remained as if he was lost in thought, his gaze was fixated on the glowing billboard above. The car window to his right was descending slowly, while his sight grew clearer than before, due to the slight black tint of the glass. The man with an untouchable vibe sighed and spoke with a slightly irritated tone. “Um……. Let’s take a break here. I felt the need for some coffee.” His eyes stayed on the billboard whereas the car didn’t move a single inch backward or forward. His face continued to be expressionless. “We’re a bit behind your usual schedule, due to the traffic block.” His secretary checked the time on his left wrist. He already had a rough idea of what the current time was as the surroundings were dawned in a warm, yellowish orange shade. ‘It’s 4:30 P.M, huh?’ “And it’s around the time for your coffee break. Would you like me to grab coffee for the others as well, since we’re already on the way, Sir?” His secretary, who was driving the car, spoke to him, pulled the car to a safer side of the road so that he could park the car. While playing with the small strands at the edge of his hairline near his left ear, the elderly business man in the back of the car shook his head gently and quickly changed his mind. “No, it’s okay. You can buy coffee for the others and return without me. I have some personal matters to attend to.” “Personal matters…….” Only silence persisted in the car after that response. The secretary shifted his gaze toward his boss in the rearview mirror, analyzing his boss's expression. After assessing the situation closely for a few seconds, he broke the silence. “Are you meeting with your wife again, Sir?” ‘I can’t tell if he lost his own screws today after all…… Ha…… ’ He viewed the expression of his driver from the car mirror and sighed. ‘My secretary is unusually happy. Youngsters…….” He was tired, and was unwilling to get involved, but he didn't retort back. “Perhaps.” Even then, he managed a businessman’s smile in front of his subordinate. His secretary was content with his casual response, before his mind wandered back to memories of his own wife. “Should I drive you there then, sir?” The question caught his attention again. “No need. I’ll handle it from here and take a cab.” They got out of the car after the conversation ended. He handed his secretary his black card to buy the coffee, and then they made their way to a nearby café. While he was waiting outside, he looked up at the billboard of Chae Yoo-jung, holding a perfume bottle, displayed on the screen above the building. It was a video advertisement for a famous luxury brand. The chaebol looks surprisingly young, with his black hair neatly slicked to the sides, considering he’s in his mid-fifties. He stares at the screen for a moment. His expression remained serious and unaffected, before taking off his black sunglasses. He put his sunglasses in the corner of his suit pocket. His secretary returns with several cups of coffee in one hand and hands him his warm cup, before giving back his black card. “Then, farewell, sir. I hope you enjoy your dinner date.” After nodding back to his secretary, the chaebol was sent off in a cab to who knows where. *** Chae Yoo-jeong returned to their apartment after buying groceries to cook for his hyung. A joyful smile spread across his face as he thought about it. In his mind, he recalled his smile when he went to work this morning. ‘I wonder what I should get him for our first anniversary. I don’t have any clue……. There are too many things I want to give him. Should I buy everything I can think of?’ His mind was lost in the moment, drifting like floating clouds. That was until he got a call from his mother. Ring, ring. With a bitter expression, he hurriedly rejected the call before making his way to their apartment. When he reached the floor through the elevator, he noticed a strange, yet familiar man standing in front of the door. ‘Is he one of my stalkers……? I’ve been getting too many weird comments these days. Maybe I should just ki……’ The man turned around to see Chae Yoo-jeong’s face. He flinched due to the chilly air around that strange man, but he didn’t let go of the grocery bags. After he unclogged some memories in his mind, he finally understood who this man is. ‘It’s been years since I have seen him. I have had a bad feeling since this morning. Is that why he’s here?’ “Uh…… Hm…….” Chae Yoo-jeong was at a loss for words on how to begin and sighed. The man noticed his behavior and spoke first, nodding as he stepped forward. He stood just a step away from him, removing his sunglasses. “It seems you know who I am. Well, that’s good to know. Since that makes things easier on my side then.” After a moment of silence, Chae Yoo-jeong invited him inside to avoid any disturbance to their neighbors and let the man enter the apartment first, before he closed the entrance door. They began to walk toward the living room without a single word between them. Chae Yoo-jeong gestured toward the couch for the man to sit down and wait. He went into the kitchen to put down the grocery bags. Just a minute later, he came back with a glass of water. He questioned why he was here. After listening to the man for ten minutes, Chae Yoo-jeong understood the reason for his unannounced visit. “Hmm……To summarize, you’re telling me to go to college, due to my mother nagging you about it, since she thinks what I'm doing now is a… shame.” The man, wearing a black suit and emitted the vibe of a chaebol, was his stepfather, the man his mother had later got remarried, just after he finished his elementary school. It was rare for his stepfather to come home early, since he arrived very late most of the time. In fact, the only time he even saw him was probably once a year, and that was during Christmas Day. But it was more like his mother didn’t care about Chae Yoo-jeong and he didn’t bother to see his stepfather either, aside from occasionally meeting once in a while, when they bumped into each other in the huge vacant penthouse. Everytime, he met his stepfather, his cold expression remained, making him feel so distant, thus they were not even close to begin with. ‘Looking back, he is still the same even now. I wished I could rip his cold demeanor apart. Right here and now.’ Chae Yoo-jeong stared at his father’s shoes, which he hadn’t taken off before coming inside the apartment. Only disgust and loathing remained near the depths of his throat, as if they will be vomited outwards if he even spouted a single word right now. His bright eyes darkened while he thought about his past memories. ‘He must also think it’s a shame that his only son is just a gamer, doing modeling and other gigs these days.’ “She’s not the only one who feels that way. I also think that Chae Yoo-jeong’s career is rather troubling, considering what all my nephews are doing right now, since you’re my stepson……. But just to be clear, I have no intention of handing over my company to anyone, not until the day I die. I just don’t want your personal matters to affect me in any way possible. You’re still my stepson, and whatever you do will reflect on my presence regardless of whatever you think.” ‘He’s saying stepson this and that……. I’m losing my shit over this. His presence. My ass.’ A frown appeared on Chae Yoo-jeong’s face. He remembered how it was back in middle school. However, no matter how hard he tries, he can’t seem to remember his face, at all, from that time. The only reason he recognizes him now is because of the way he was dressed, and especially his glare. He felt discomfort with his stepfather’s presence and attitude. ‘But…… Why did he come now? Whatever, it doesn’t matter now. I thought he wouldn't bother me as long as I stayed out of his way.’ Although anger was fuming inside him, Chae Yoo-jeong remained composed. After a moment of thought, he spoke. “I’ll go to college on one condition. You must atleast let me choose where I want to go.” ‘At the very least, I should get something out of this bothersome matter.’ “Sure. As long as I approve of it as well.” His stepfather smirked before standing up from the couch. After loosening and retightening his tie again, he smiled like a snake with his eyes squinting. Chae Yoo-jeong’s lips twitched with disgust. He clicked his tongue in irritation. ‘I really want to curse this shameless bastard and rip his head bald.’ Chae Yoo-jeong, who was aware of his own bad manners, guided him to the door. “I hope I will never have to see you and my mother, ever again, after this. You can get my number from my mother, if you want. After college, I’ll be cutting both this number and any ties to your messed-up chaebol family. Don’t expect me to come crawling back to you. Don’t worry.” Chae Yoo-jeong said in an expression, that may look like a gentle tone on the outside, but it truly isn’t. He then flashed him with a cold but shivery smile, before he slammed the door. *** Later that evening, Yoo Ji-han came home and hugged Chae Yoo-jeong, while dropping his own bag at the entrance. This surprised Chae Yoo-jeong a bit, making him lose his balance and almost trip over on the ground. After removing Yoo ji-han from his body, Chae Yoo-jeong put on this grey apron, and then started to cook dinner. While they were eating what Chae Yoo-jeong had made, Yoo Ji-han explained why he is like this in a calm but stressed voice. “I have something to tell you. You see…… the head of the department told me that I was selected for the transfer program to Germany… on the condition that I would finish my master’s degree there and also work for the company for five years in return.” ‘It’s kinda noticeable that he’s trying to be calm, but he’s also kinda worried and stressed about how I’ll react.’ Chae Yoo-jeong thought with a sweet smile, as Yoo Ji-han looked at him, waiting to see how he would respond. “I’ll come with you. I really want to go with you…… I can take this chance to give myself a vacation and a peace of mind and rest. We have a lot to prepare before we go there…… if you want to go, of course……” “The date isn’t fixed yet, but she said it’ll be, probably, around two or three months before I can go. But… are you really okay with leaving Korea with me?” ‘I’m truly happy and content with this opportunity but… I don’t want Chae Yoo-jeong to follow me just because I need to leave. I don’t want to force him to come along with me, and I don’t want to interfere with his work. Even if we must end things here……’ Yoo Ji-han glanced at Chae Yoo-jung with a worried expression. His dark eyes stared into his brown eyes. Chae Yoo-jung noticed it and reached out to place his hand over Yoo Ji-han’s on the table. Warmth spread from Chae Yoo-jeong’s hand to Yoo Ji-han. “I’m really okay with going with you, Hyung. And… actually, I’ve been wanting to go somewhere with you. We can take this chance to go on dates as well.” Chae Yoo-jeong stared at Yoo Ji-han, smiling with golden retriever eyes, like a puppy eager to go on a walk with his master. An imaginary tail wagged behind Chae Yoo-jeong. Yoo Ji-han sighed with relief upon seeing his usual cute behavior. The corners of his eyes loosened since his tension was eased. ‘He’s too precious.’ Chae Yoo-jeong took his hand from the table and kissed Yoo Ji-han’s ring finger, as if to soothe his worries. Yoo Ji-han flinched as he blushed, wanting to hide his face, but could only avert his eyes away. ‘I shouldn’t have been so overly worried about this. It’s so embarrassing.’ *** HM: YC has become a househusband(kinda)0w0. MR: YC is so cute.
